I attempted to come in here over the weekend with some friends. There was a long line, didn't take very long. Once we got to the front, one of the bouncers let my friend in. I was right behind her and he looked at the sandals I was wearing and said that I couldn't come in, as well as my other friend who was also wearing sandals. We stepped to the side and watched some other girls go in behind us who were also wearing sandals (probably more dangerous than ours), and they were let in with no problem. We questioned a different bouncer (the one who refused us had left) and he said "Who told you no? I don't care if you're wearing sandals, you can get back in line." We went to rejoin the line and this other woman, I guess one of your employees, came behind us and very rudely informed us that we'd been "flagged" for inappropriate shoes and we would not be let in. We asked why several others were let in with the same shoes and she said "I didn't see that." And she walked away. If this was simply a matter of us not following a certain dress code then fine. But the fact that these bouncers let some people in and then randomly refuse others is unacceptable, especially when we were all completely sober and wanted to spend our money at your venue. Consistency is important. Won't...

Read more0 star rating without hesitation sunday night 25/06/23 tried to go to an after party with my friends and was let in with a rude remark from the security on the door once upstairs i went to tell the guard up there how i was treated he told me he would talk about it with the guard and to follow him downstairs. once downstairs (before i could even tell my friends i was there) i was kicked out with no explanation or empathy for my phone being dead and essentially left alone in the city. they then refused to charge my phone to help me get home until the guards shift changed over and i could ask again after multiple hours of waiting and crying on the street. disgusting treatment of customers and terrible rude and unprofessional security guards with not a manager in sight.
this entire business should be closed down for the well-being of the brisbane city community.
the same night i witnessed another customer get punched in the face by security with little provocation besides being drunk. his nose was likely broken and i hope he sues for all you...
