I would not visit there again. The security team put a target on your back and throw you out for no reason. This was even after singing at the karaoke event, word perfect, no slurring, and no swearing. After a large applause, I went back to sit down with my family to relax but was then told I had to leave within 10 minutes. I had only been there for just on half an hour. Everybody enjoyed the song. The security staff and the manager informed me that I was intoxicated after two drinks (I checked my credit card receipt). After coming from a work appointment, it seems you canât even have a good time any more. The smart and smug comments from the security guards as you leave are inappropriate and speaks to their level of integrity. They were seen laughing, clearly trying to fire respectable people up to start a fight and waving at us. This was unnecessary as my family and I left on our own accord and they clearly wanted to see more action. It seems they are just a bunch of thugs. I also contacted the manager. She proceeded to say that I was intoxicated and she made the call to evict me. I must have been earmarked early on as I was only there for 30 minutes. Unfortunately what I also observed was a woman, who was falling all over the dance floor in the karaoke bar, remain in the establishment. There seems to be rules for some and not others. To the owner of the establishment, I would check the footage and question your management as of why she wasnât evicted yet others were. Shame on you. The Victory was my go to venue in my youth and no more will I endure or tolerate this discriminatory, poorly managed venue with arrogant security personal. Despite being provided 10 minutes, I left immediately on my own terms opting to go straight away. Shame on you Victory Hotel. After looking at all the other reviews, this seems like a pattern due to poor management and security. The bar staff were efficient and lovely. Maybe they need to look at new management who actually analyse the security footage to show the over excessive use of people getting thrown out. The fact that there is inconsistencies leads me to believe there is a high level of discrimination. Furthermore, I attended another reputable venue after I left the Victory Hotel, who did not have any concerns about my demeanour or the demeanour of the guests who attended with me. Moving forward, there does not seem to be a complaints handling policy for this establishment. When I tried to resolve the issue respectfully, the manager was unable to respond appropriately and hung up on me. This is not a way to run a...
Read moreItâs interesting that 3 days ago a Jim Wicked reported that the shorter security guard with glasses at this hotel was on a massive power trip refusing him entry. My wife (who is middle aged) was out with girlfriends tonight for a dinner and departed the Victory hotel having left her phone and glasses inside. Returning just a few minutes after leaving upon realising she had left her phone and glasses, the same security guard on a power trip would not allow my wife to enter the hotel to get her phone and glasses even though they could actually be seen from the doorway. A very reasonable request I would suggest from my wife. The apparent reason for refusing entry seems to be that she may have been cutting the queue to enter as she was not at all intoxicated. She explained that she had left her phone and glasses but the security guard physically prevented her entry and with the help of one of his equally manly associates physically pushed my wife backwards against the doorway when she tried to get past, leaving bruises on her arms and her breasts. This sad excuse of a man called three of his mates to prevent my 45kg wife from retrieving her phone and glasses. Clearly even one of these hard working saviours of the universe could have retrieved her phone and glasses as requested in a matter of seconds and there would have been no issue at all. I hope the management appropriately addresses this behaviour from a so-called security âmanâ as his actions were both over-reaching and disgusting in the most vile way. I suggest anyone else that is thinking of gracing this place with your hard earned money take it down the road to literally anywhere else. I post this as a warning to others that this is what you can expect, it seems, from the Victory Hotel. The incident was recorded by one of my wifeâs friends but I choose not to post it here for the privacy of those involved. I have seen the video and am disgusted by the actions of the security personnel, especially the little man with glasses for whom it seems this is a pattern of...

I recently visited The Victory Hotel and indulged in their delicious Arancini balls. The flavors were impeccable, and it was evident that the kitchen staff took great care in preparing them. However, my dining experience took an unfortunate turn due to the behavior of one particular staff member, who I will refer to as "Bo" for the purpose of this review.
Initially, my evening began smoothly as Bo served me my first and second beers without any issues. However, when my partner attempted to order another drink later in the evening, Bo refused to serve her with another alcoholic beverage for me, citing I was stumbling. I attempted to clarify the situation, explaining the nature of my injury and even showing him the extensive bruising, but Bo's response was not only dismissive but also disrespectful.
His attitude towards me was quite frankly appalling. It was clear that he was uninterested in understanding my situation and instead chose to speak to me in a condescending manner. I felt belittled and unwelcome, which greatly tarnished what would have otherwise been a flawless dining experience.
I urge the owner or manager to address this issue promptly. Employees should be trained to handle all situations with empathy and professionalism, leaving personal problems and attitudes at home. No customer should ever feel mistreated or humiliated, especially over a misunderstanding as trivial as this.
In conclusion, while the culinary delights I had deserve every bit of praise, the unfortunate encounter with Bo significantly detracted from my overall satisfaction which would have been a 5 star review. It is my hope that management takes the necessary steps to ensure that incidents like these are not repeated in the future, so that all patrons can fully enjoy the exceptional dining experiencethe The Victory...
