First time I tried this venue was on a Wednesday at lunchtime. We sat outside as we didn't come here to watch the sport. Didn't have a booking & was able to get a table without a hassle. The staff member encouraged us to use the QR on the table and to pop in and see her if there were any issues with it. What wasn't advertised was: 1. you get charged to use the app, 2. you'll get another ccrd card surcharge on top and 3. unless you're onto it it default to auto tip which I didn't know so that was generous of me. To put it in perspective, I paid over $30 for 10 wings, which were just okay. I got the 'melt your face flavour' (hottest flavour available) yes they were hot as advertised, but taste was compromised. I didn't finish it & wouldn't order this flavour again. I also ordered a side of fries that didn't come with any sauce. I assume this is extra. My mate got a burger and side of chips. It looked like a small serving. Your friend will also pay these charges if they order using the QR code separately. I found it pricey considering there's so many other places that have lunch specials.

Second time visting was yesterday (Tuesday lunchtime). I met some gfs who were watching the hockey game. It was lunchtime and there were a few others there. They had wings for 50c so I thought I'd give it another go. To be able to get this offer you need to order a drink (alcoholic or not is fine) & buy min 10 which means you'll pay at least $5 for wings. This was a better deal. I couldn't be bothered going to the counter, so I placed my order using the QR code knowing about the surcharges this time around. I ordered the sticky Jack Daniel's flavour wings & a softdrink. It was $11 all up this time. I liked the flavour this time around. Gotta love celery, carrot & dipping sauce that comes with it. They forget the celery in my gfs order so she took one of mine.

I've read this place gets loud on a Friday night & imagine this would also be the case during popular games. It would be a popular place to have a drink at night with a group of people. There's lots of different sports you can watch. If that is your vibe you'll...

I really wanted to review this place because after reading some recent reviews I was on the verge of cancelling my reservation to try somewhere else.

We got to the front desk, staff were super friendly and helpful and took us straight to our table. Had a great view of the rugby on an enormous TV.

Ordering is quick and efficient through a QR code. Drinks came as soon as they were ready to keep us going until the food was cooked. (The beers are much cheaper if you order by the litre, so keep that in mind if you're thirsty).

So the reason I almost cancelled was the reviews for classic wings: a lot of people said they were great, but a measurable number of people said they were small, expensive and mediocre. Some of the photos with the reviews convinced me the classics would not be a good choice. Based on that, we ordered 10 fried and 10 boneless and, thankfully, we were impressed. Plenty of meat, well-cooked, sauces very great and you get more than enough for 10 wings. Sweet potato fries and onion rings were good. Not life-changing, but they were good. 20 wings and 2 sides was a perfect amount of food for 2 of us to be full to the brim. I'm sure there are people who can demolish twice the wings I can, but the best part is you can start small and order more if/when you want them.

In summary: I would still be wary of ordering the classic wings (based on reviews and photos) but we thoroughly enjoyed what we had, and would definitely try Winghaus again. That being said, I think I'd skip at least one side dish and get more...

Wing-haus? More like wing-single-bedroom-apartment considering the size!

I came here on 12/12/2021 for lunch with some friends. We booked online but when we arrived there was no booking for us. We asked for a table and the guy at the front counter looked around umm'd and ahh'd and asked us if we could just stay for 30min, we said sure. Went in and the place was half full, heaps of tables and they sat 4 of us at the tiniest centre table. The place stayed half empty the entire time we were there. We ordered wings and beer.

The incredibly overpriced wings when they came out looked like Pidgeon wings they were that small, luckily the sauce was tasty. One of our wing orders however did not come for 30 minutes even though you pay in advance. We had to ask for them and wait another 15 minutes before they came out. Further more one of our beers did not come for over 20 minutes until we grabbed someone's attention again. This was ridiculous considering all you need to do is stick the glass under the tap. It was not even a busy service.

I rarely if ever give one star reviews but the service, food and experience here was the worst I have had in a long time. If you are going to charge a premium for your food I would expect premium meals and service. The wings were so tiny with barely any meat on them. How can you call yourself winghaus when you fail to provide a proper wing?

I would not recommend this place to anyone and definitely will not be...

Quite disappointed today with the experience at winghaus. Aside from the very noisy bar environment. They seated a 9 people booking well in advance at a very small booth. Very cramped and hot.. Placed our order online which they charge differently online and at bar why??? It asks for a tip aswell... Why??? We don't tip in Australia, we pay a living wage.Ditch that crap now. Unacceptable. The wings I ordered took an hour to come out, 10 wings. Tiniest wings I've ever had, mango habanero, no spice at all. The carrot and celery was abysmal. Literally not even half a carrot, 4 of the smallest pieces I've ever seen. All in total almost 20 bucks. The beer mugs you can only choose 500ml or 1l, they Do NOT fill it up. It leaves a good 10% empty. Not cool again No attempts to make amends or apologise for the wait or anything, could've thrown a few extra wings in there to say sorry for making me wait an hour, even at lunch (keep in mind several other tables who came after got their food first) .. Overall just kinda sad, always wanted to try it and now I have. Never again. Spend your money better elsewhere and visit working title brewing for good wings and beer. Better service. Also, a glass of wine at the bar $15 dollars.. on their online menu $10 huh????

This venue provides ample beer, wings and sports just like what is written on the bowls that the wings come out on. Service was a bit slow even though there wasn’t lots of people there. I was hoping that with a name like Haus that someone would be able to speak German but unfortunately they only spoke English and American. There is a lot of options for wings (highly recommend fried wings with Korean and mango habanero sause. Burgers are good too. They Had lots of sports playing. Loved that they played the 2003 AFL grand final (shout out to the Lions)) next to some US college football and cricket and soccer. I got the team keg 4.5l of Northern Original (white marlin heavy’s) and it went alright with the boys. Only downside was wings was a bit expensive and we ran out of serviettes and I had chimken grease all over me. I had to rub to steal some from the neighbouring table and my mate tried to rub his greasy mitts on my shirt but because I’m the alpha he didn’t in the end. I’ll go back next time I want to go to an American sport bar place. IGA wings are cheaper but doesn’t give the same vibe and does hit the spot when you want to buy a 4.5 litre thingy of beer. And onion rings were good but didn’t come with sauce even though we paid extra for sauce
