The food here is AMAZING. I come every week to support an owner who does great food for a great price. Absolutely love chatting to the owner, so friendly.

I’m so tired of people who are nasty and leave reviews for a small business because the person is Israeli. The owner isn’t the government, he isn’t responsible for their actions and all these nasty reviews are trying to ruin an Australian person and his business he uses to survive life. Should we all blame the Germans for what happened? Should we blame every American for what their government does? Imagine we come to your work and tell your boss nasty things that have nothing to do with you just so you can be out of a job. Unfortunately it seems some nasty people can’t quite grasp this concept.

A quick & easy dinner full of flavoursome delights. Can't go past the Falafal Oval Plate - delicious crispy Falafel with a selection of fresh salads, Brisbane's best Hummus, Tahini & Schug, and of course, a freshly made fluffy Pita. Finished off with a serving of Malabi or a piece of Baklava, you're tatesbuds are sure to be satisfied. Noteable mention to the Pine Nut Hummus Bowl (if you're a Hummus fiend like me and the only way with Hummus is 'more is more'), the Shawarma Oval Plate, Falafel Pita & the Shakshuka. The staff are all beautiful and have shared many chats, even Chef Michael! They are dog friendly - very eagerly providing a waterbowl to keep our Golden Girl well hydrated. We had a wonderful takeaway meal tonight, would definitely recommend Yababa to anyone. We ordered several different dishes and everything was so fresh and flavourful. The pita breads and falafels were so much nicer than what you buy in the supermarket! The restaurant is really clean and bright looking, a place that you could bring a group. There was some parking at the back of the building. I can't wait to come again!

For disabled/step-free access there is a (I think unmarked) door at the rear, I'm sure if you call they would show you in. 1 disabled parking bay at the back of the building. The street entrance has about 4 steps up with...
