This place is a hidden gem, the staff are very friendly and very informative and helpful if you need it, they have a very large lounge and bar area that you can book for functions, weddings, party's, meetings, ECT, they have a very good in house caterer that serves delicious very reasonably priced meals, (pub grub at it's best or high quality classy 3 course meals for functions) There are two very well kept grass bowling greens, (updating very soon to artificial turf) that can also be hired out for fun barefoot bowls party's! Hire fees are very good... Bowls and such equipment are provided. There is a good sized viewing lounge that overlooks the greens with full ceiling to floor windows. For all you darts enthusiasts there is a team who would welcome new players and for anyone who just wants to stop for a cold one or two 😜 the prices are the cheapest than anywhere else in Perth City! They have a lovely outside area to sit out watching the fireworks on Australia Day or the likes, it's virtually on the river front so if you've had a busy day shopping it's a lovely way to end your day. Toilets are clean but a little dated, however they are all working fine, they have a tray in the ladies with deodorant Talc band aids etc. They are also welcoming new bowlers on the men's and ladies teams at anytime beginners are very welcome, tuition is available from the lovely knowledgeable Heather, all the bowlers are just lovely people, friendly helpful and very welcoming! Also snooker/pool tables are waiting for the next pro or novice! A laid back relaxing lounge room is waiting for you to chilax with sofas, tables and a huge tv to watch sports and all the latest games. It's the oldest bowling and recreation club in Perth, built in the 1800's, has some fantastic historical stories. We had to take control from the beginning as she got frustrated at our guests for not getting into teams. People are there to have fun, not for a tournament. We had ask our guests to help carry tressle tables and food out as manager and staff didn’t help.
Manager disappeared and left venue early without any form of handover. Worse of all, without any form of communication, they turned the lights off on us while were were still playing.

We popped in to ask about playing bowls and were told that we'd be welcome to return that evening and play in the Wednesday night 'scroungers' game. We took up the offer and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We borrowed bowls and played barefoot. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The green is immaculate and clearly very well cared for.
