My mother in law and I recently visited Coffee Club Riverlink and ordered a mango smoothie, and my experience left much to be desired. It's essential to share my disappointment to shed light on the issues I encountered.
I ordered a mango smoothie, which was meant for my mother in law. After some sips, she left the smoothie untouched, and I tried it myself too. The drink was, in a word, terrible. It lacked any discernible flavor, with no hint of passionfruit, and the banana taste was unripe that it was hardly palatable.
When I brought this issue to the attention of the waiter, she claimed not to have taken the order and offered to add mango to "balance" the taste. However, she informed me that they were out of passion fruit not even the main key ingredient mango.This raised a red flag for me, indicating that this establishment does not have the necessary ingredients to make what's advertised on the menu. This lack of essential ingredients is unacceptable, especially when the customer's expectations are clearly set by the menu.
Afterward, the manager eventually processed a refund for the disappointing smoothie. However, what truly disappointed me was the lack of customer service. No member of the staff apologized for the inconvenience or demonstrated any empathy towards us as customers. It was evident that our dissatisfaction didn't matter to them.
I believe that every customer's experience should be valued and that a simple apology can go a long way in retaining a customer's trust, even when mistakes occur. Unfortunately, this was not the case at Coffee Club Riverlik.
Overall, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would advise anyone seeking a pleasant and satisfying dining experience to be cautious when considering this...
   Read moreI ordered both today and yesterday from this store because I have been really unwell and unable to cook for myself all week. I am so overwhelmed with how wonderful the service has been that I had to leave a review to tell everyone else! Also, the food is always amazing from any Coffee Club I visit and is always as expected, if not better.
Sometimes I write notes on my Uber Eats orders requesting food to be cooked/packaged a certain way because I can be a little picky; although grateful even if those requests are not met, of course. This team adhered to each request but also went out of their way to write me a handwritten note yesterday and then today, they gave me a free dessert and wished me well in my recovery! I have always worked in customer service and know how hard it can be yet this team exceeded my expectations ten fold and definitely deserve a raise! Seeing as I can't give them that, I'll give them praise. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the TCC Riverlink Cinemas Team - you've made my whole week and I appreciate you all so much! I didnât notice until I got home and looked at the receipt. I donât usually ask for a receipt but will make sure that I get one from there from now on. And as you pay after the meal, as you are leaving, it would be hard to prove what you had. The food was ok and staff friendly, just disappointing that I got ripped off. Just went back there today. đ¤Śđťââď¸ Why did I do it???? First up, staff were friendly. Ordered coffee and three main meals with a side of fries and sweet potato fries. The waiter came back and said they were out of sweet potato fries, strange, considering it wasnât midday yet. Anyway, then we witnessed the coffee maker, wonât insult Baristas by calling her one, actually get a staff member to smell a coffee she had just made (which turned out to be mine). Then the meals arrived with no fries, I was told I didnât order any. When I went to pay the bill, guess what???. Yep, fries were added to bill.
