HORRIBLE SERVICE and tasteless food! That's the only word that can describe Bedis today!
I have been to Bedi's in the 90's and early 2000 when Mr & Mrs Bedi ran the place themselves and their food and service was a delight... Not knowing the place had changed hands I took some very special guests for dinner...
From the time we ordered food I could tell the current team was unprofessional, the food proved to be suitable for serving in a Bombay slump... The picoras were stone hard and you couldn't tell the difference between the half a dozen curries we ordered... they all tasted the same, essentially dog food served with a standard curry paste.
To top insult to injury the cowboys or more appropriately (cow Indians) turned the lights off while we were still eating.

Food was absolutely delicious (butter chicken, masala dhal, rice and garlic naan + mango lassi). Service very warm and welcoming. Food was quick (food like this is typically pre prepared and reheated in pots, as it's a long slow cooking process, hence the speed of service). The vibe was awesome, we loved the decor and it felt like such an authentic experience. Very clean and you could sense the owner operator pride.
