Recommend for a relaxed event where the focus is on the food and people!
We had our wedding at Eataliano by Pino in February 2022 because we love the food - and the food did not disappoint, it was outstanding! We had comments from many guests on how good the food was, and there was plenty to go around. Eataliano was very accommodating of all of our requests, including the type of food and drinks served, and an agreement to serve cake and to have some small decorations set up at the venue. Although they didn't have a formal function package when we organised our event, they organised everything bespoke for us and provided an invoice and detailed event plan.
Recommended for people who are relaxed about their wedding/event and happy to go with the flow on the day! Being a restaurant, we had to be ready to rock up on the day and be happy with the restaurant as it was (beautifully decorated naturally with plants and decorations hanging from the roof), with our family helping to set up some minor things on the day, including the cake table and some signs and flowers. The restaurant had meal services either side of the event which meant everything needed to be set up and packed up that day. The organisation of the event was also very relaxed, which you need to be comfortable with if it is a big event like a wedding. If this is your style, we highly recommend Eataliano by Pino as the food, warmth of the staff and environment were fantastic and created a unique venue for a...
Read moreDrinks overpriced!!
Went as a group of seven. Whilst the pizza and pasta we ordered was good, the price for soft drinks, beers and "still water" (which we thought would be free) was ridiculous! Four coke zeros cost $32 and full of ice!!! For probably post mix!!! Four beers cost $52. Don't get fooled by the question "still or sparkling?". We said still, thinking we were getting tap water and when the waiter came back with two bottles of some crappy tasting bottles of water and cracked open the first one, I told them to not open the second. Yet, to my dismay, they still charged us for two. So was charged for $16!! for the water. Didn't realise until we got home and looked at the receipt (my fault).
Barramundi was bland at $38. We also ordered a bowl of fries for the kids which were overcooked and taken away before we had finished.
Pizza was the stand out with good flavour and good size. The carbonara pasta was also tasty but on the small size for $35. No kids menu was a let down (especially given the price of soft drink).
Staff were friendly but English is their second language so struggled to understand us at times.
Would we go there again? Probably not because they owe me a bottle of crappy tasting still water (should have said sparkling for the same price). Has unfortunately left a bad taste...
Read moreI recently visited Eataliano and was seriously impressed by their new bar. This spot is a perfect blend of classy and casual, and their drinks menu is outstanding. You can sit at a comfortable booth, the bar or outside in the sunshine. The cocktails are a real highlight—classic options like Negroni and Aperol Spritz are perfectly executed, but their creative twists like the Campari, Fanta, and Gin or the Milano-Torino really stand out. If you’re a fan of refreshing, fruity flavors, the Bellini and Rossini are must-tries.
For wine lovers, the selection is top-notch, with a mix of Italian and Australian options. The sparkling choices, like the Cester Camillo Prosecco, are great for a celebratory vibe. I loved exploring the reds, especially the Tenuta Viglione Primitivo—a rich, bold choice. If you’re into whites, the Colterenzio Pinot Grigio was crisp and refreshing.
Beer fans are in for a treat too, with premium options like Weihenstephaner and Theresianer IPA on tap, alongside classics like Peroni. They’ve even got a cider on the menu if you’re in the mood for something lighter.
Overall, Eataliano delivers on all fronts—a great place to unwind with amazing drinks, cozy vibes, and a touch of Italian charm. Highly recommend for a night out or casual drinks...
