La La Land Windsor — Restaurant in Melbourne

I came here with a group of friends. There was one table available outside so I sat down as the others went inside to order drinks. I noticed a group of girls that were looking for an empty table, and so did the security guards. One of them came up to me and told me that I couldn't sit there and take up a whole table when other guests were standing (referring to the girls). I told him my friends were inside to order drinks and that they'd be out in a minute or so. By this point the second security guard had joined and they were both telling me that I had to get up and give room for the girls. I ones again explained that my friends were inside ordering drinks, but they wouldn't listen.

I have never been to a bar along Chapel St (or any other bar in the world for that matter) where one person can't sit down at a table while their friends go inside to order drinks. Unheard of!

It all ended with me and my friends getting upset and frustrated, so we left without having any drinks and now a one star review. All because these guards wanted to impress this...

I went here with a couple of friends. It's cute and the drinks were standard. My friend and I were chatting at the bar. There was a candle behind her and she blew it out and pushed it away...so the bartender relit it and put it behind her again. This happened 3 times. The last time it happened she didn't see it because it was placed directly behind her. Her hair went up in flames... luckily we were quickly able to put it out. The bartender simply laughed it off. Never apologised. When we asked for another round, my friend asked, mildly joking, if she could have hers on the house because of her hair catching on fire... the bartender said we should pay HIM because we made the bar smell like burning hair, charged us the regular price and STILL did not apologise. That's not ok and we will not be returning. There are A LOT of great bars on Chapel and customer service can...

Cosy little trendy bar on Chapel street offering good happy hour specials on shots. Great atmosphere, I loved the back rooms with red lighting, custom artwork and comfy chesterfield to lounge on and chat while devouring the delicious cocktails. 🍹 🍸 Only thing that let this bar down, was that I couldn't get served by one of the bartenders....who served all my young, pretty friends, and seemed to deliberately avoid me. Even when he heard me mention to my friend ( who came back from drinking her beverage to reorder) that I couldn't get him to serve me- he still served people who just approached the bar first. I think 25 mins to get a drink when you are first in line is ridiculous! Equal rights for older, fatter girls!!!! If my friend hadn't ordered for me- I'd probably still be...
