2014 AD Cafe — Restaurant in New South Wales

My friend and I had been to Brick Cafe and enjoyed it . When i heard that it had changed hands and had a new name , we were eager to try it out , and have been looking forward to experiencing California Eatery . Today we met for brunch . We were BLOWN away by the extensive menu choices , and eventually chose the Reuben Toastie and Free Range Eggs on Sourdough , along with our Almond Lattes . Our meals were absolutely amazing and perfect , as were our coffees ☕️ The flavours and taste combinations of the Reuben Toastie was SO good and so yummy 😋 The Free Range Eggs had egg yolks so deep in colour , and were beautiful with amazing flavour . The staff were fantastic with great service and so friendly . Thank you for a great Brunch experience. We will definitely be back to work our way through your Amazing menu . To be honest I normally don’t write too many negative reviews and to be honest I have been here many times before with great service. Today I arrived at the cafe with my wife. The cafe was @ about 40% capacity when we were seated. When we first arrived the server was very abrupt with the people lining up in front of us to pay there bill, this put us off slightly . We were then seated . After this, we observed her seat another 5 tables within the 10 mins after being seated. We sat there for about 30 mins and observed her take orders from these 5 tables that were seated after us. She walked past our table a few times during this time and wouldn’t even acknowledge us. We did get an acknowledgment from a younger staff member which was nice, but then she proceeded to take coffees to a table that was seated after us. After about 40 mins we left and went across the road to another establishment where we were seated, ordered and served our meals within 15 mins. So disappointed is a real...

California Eatery in Albury exceeded my expectations in every way possible.
