Grill'd Burgers - Albury — Restaurant in New South Wales

Had a mixed experience at Grilld. Kitchen staff put non-vegan cheese on a vegan burger. When we asked for the burger with vegan cheese instead they took it and brought back a “new one” with vegan cheese, except they had just tried to pull off the very melted dairy cheese without much success and whacked on a vegan piece over it. When we asked for a new one, again, we were told the wait was going to be really long, so we opted for a refund instead. The guy that came out to do the refund, Zach, was really lovely and understood that it was not acceptable for the staff to risk that. Before we left, he also gave a voucher for our troubles. He definitely lifted the spirits after a really frustrating experience, but I hope the staff that are often in the kitchen really learn how dangerous it is to offer a dietary specific meal and not follow through with it. Have been to Grill'd so many times and had great experiences however tonight was a little disappointing. I received non vegan cheese on my vegan burger and when i asked if i could please get it made vegan instead the kitchen staff just sloppily scraped it off (half of it still melted on to the patty) and brought it back out with vegan cheese added. I then asked if i could please get a new patty, and instead saying yes the service staff made me feel as though it was a bother and said it would be a long wait so i opted for a refund. The manager Zac was so lovely about it and even gave me a voucher for next time on top of the refund. Shame the kitchen/serving staff werent as helpful as management. Would definitely still go back but hate that i now feel a little anxious about ordering the vegan options. Zac was wonderful however i hope the kitchen staff take a little more...

I have coeliacs disease, and an allergy to dairy and Sulfites. I've been eating here for the past 2 years and even more so in the last 8months (you guys are seriously getting me through my pregnancy haha #NotJustGettingFatFromTheFood).

I've eaten at a Grill'd down near Geelong and been glutened before-no hard feelings-that was the risk that I took and the disclaimer on the menu does say it's more for gluten intolerances but can I just say!-I've never once been sick from Grill'd in Albury. On top of that as well-the food is always cooked perfectly, tastes amazing and served quickly. And the staff!-You should be very proud of you and your team.
