Venue: Little Banh mi shop. Small tables indoors or outdoors. Always lining up. It's good to have a fence and arrow on the floor separating the queue from the dining area. Very simple setting for eating fast and simply. --- 6/10 Service: too busy, but no need to wait the food long. The waitress moves and cleans tables fast. Serveitte given when food served --- 6.5/10 Food & drinks: simple menu. Paper containers are used. Reasonable price. Good portions of fillings (meat, carrots, cucumber, and coriander). i personally am the biggest roast pork banh mi hater, i always go for the traditional. but something possessed me to order it from them today. omg, i have officially converted, i have never tasted a roast pork banh mi in perth that was so delicious as they made it.
the pork was JUICY. other places make it so so dry. this store must’ve used some magic cause the pork was so moist and thick. the crunch of the crackle from the roast pork is already so good but they also add the crackle you can buy in a packet and that just brings it to the next level of CRUNCH. 2019 review This is my second try at this place. Their BMT is not great. I got the spicy chicken one. Generous size and filling, but the chicken was not tender, instead was quite tough which is surprising for thighs. The marinate was subpar. There was no butter and no sauce. All the essential ingredients of a good BMT is missing. I give 2 stars for the good bread, took away 3 stars because it's not tasty and for $12 it's expensive. I can get a cheaper and tastier BMT for under $10 at Beansprout or Smash Up down the road. Maybe I'll give their vegan BMT a try...
