Its start of buisness on any give work day, you want to pop into mcdonalds and get a coffee for breakfast option and the firat thing you see is a run down, dilapidated rubbish bin of a resturant. The main seated area is closed off because despite being 24/7..this has been identified as the best time to close off and clean up.. not between 3am and 5am when the resturant is a ghost down. The tables have been replaced by chipboard and the seats look like something dragged in from the verge collection. Everything is touch screen now so despite the grubby uncleaned screens you need to navigate prior to then holding your food, you can bet that customer service exited the building a long time ago, not even the common curiosity of a good morning or have a good day. Your number is shouted and then your meal is slid across the counter to you and by the time you look up all you see is the back of an unenthused worker that makes you feel as if your buisness is an inconvenience to them. This resturant (if i can even call it that) is at the heart of the city, a hub for tourism and home to maybe of the people working the city... is this honestly the best we can do ? Id say you get what you pay for but even a normal mcmuffin meal and a coffee can set you back $15 dollars now. Sort yourselves out Mcdonals.. i know your in realestate, not resturants, can you atleast try not make...

We ordered 2 of the same meal, and then when our number was called we realised they had only charged us for 1. So I asked the girl who handed us our food if I could just pay for the second one as soon as I realised. The first girl basically told me that wasn’t her problem and she only hands the food out. So I stepped over to the cashier and asked her if I could quickly pay for the second meal. We had waited in line for 20 mins before we ordered and then another 10 for the food. She stepped away to talk to a third girl about the situation, the third girl then came back 5 mins later to say I had to go to the back of the line before I could order again. The line was out the door and onto the street. I said that that isn’t quite fair because I had asked for 2 and the cashier had misheard me, to which she responded “yes she didn’t hear you, so to order again you need to go to the back of the line”.
I was shocked that they admitted the fault was with the cashier but instead of them letting me pay for the rest of my order, I was going to have to wait another 30+ minutes in line. When I again said that it wasn’t fair and I just wanted to pay for what I asked for, they shrugged and ignored us.
We ended up walking out because we weren’t going to wait another 30+...
Read moreKiera the crew coach literally has worst customer service I’ve ever encountered even as someone who has worked in hospitality for the last 10 years. I waited 20min for my order patiently and when she called out my number I took the bag and checked the bag . It has a different number in and there was chicken nuggets in the bag instead of the item I ordered . I waited for her to be free and then kindly told her it’s not my order . She looked through the past orders for 10 more minutes and then asked to see my order on my phone to which she said “ I didn’t give you this bag you took it from someone else “ . I explained to her that she called out my number and gave me this bag to which she replied “ oh we ran out of the item you ordered so we replaced it with nuggets “ I told her then next time can she tell me that when I order it so I’m not waiting 30minutes after a 16hr work day for a item they don’t have in stock and she just rolled her eyes and walked off . No apology or anything . It wasn’t even busy . Had maybe 3 or 4 orders . I’m typing this here as when I asked to talk to her manager she stormed off and ignored me and the other customer who asked for a straw . If you don’t want to work in customer service...
