a neat little variety of korean stuff.

honey butter chicken was served hot and very tasty, although the radish cube quantity felt skimpy.

kimchi udon was nice too. not too spicy until you get to the lower parts of the soup.

we got rose tteokbokki and “added”ramyeon for $4, although the ratio seemed a bit off. maybe i’m just unfamiliar with the portion size of things here but it felt more like 66% of the tteokbokki was just replaced? that aside, the flavor was pleasant and filling, the texture good as well albeit a little soft. not sure if it justifies the base price of $27 though.

the front door has a stopper/holder built in which can cause unwanted airflow when left open so if you are sitting in that path and don’t like wind blowing on your food you can close it

a bit on the expensive side but i wouldn’t mind...

3 stars as it was average. The cheese pork katsu was bland, better when paired with the sauce (I don't even know if they were supposed to go together?) but could definitely use a bit of a marinade, and I thought the pork would be thicker. The miso soup was really good but that was about it. Seems like they also forgot to include the dessert (from other reviews looks like usually profiteroles or something) but ours came with edamame 🥴

However, the fried chicken was really good, one of the better ones we've had in Perth and service was friendly and attentive. Overall I don't think I'd go out of my way to eat here again but I think it's worth a try at...

We visited Signal House on Saturday and had the Honey Butter Fried Chicken, Cheese Katsu Pork Lunchset and the Honeycomb rice wine to top it off. The fried chicken batter really nice and light and the cheese katsu pork was at another level. The rice wine nicely topped it all off. Atmosphere was great, we were the only people there until some came in towards the end of the meal. Service is great and friendly. Parking wasn’t an issue as there were some street side parking that is free after 12pm on Sat. Overall an enjoyable experience and we will return to try the other items on the menu. The full menu is available on their Insta...

Katsu doesn't taste as good as it looks. Miso soup was served COLD and rice was not cooked properly - it was very watery. Katsu sauce came out on a take away container and look at the sauce on the cabbage salad. Barely nothing. They only just opened so wanted to try it out like everyone else but honestly a bit disappointed. I do believe they will hardly be any return customers because it's overpriced for the quality you get unfortunately😢 Simply put, I wouldn't recommend to my friends and family.
