Booked in advance for the 2 hour all you can eat and drink cocktails. We decided to do our end of year wind up and booked the 12.30-2.30 session. The booking system was easy enough to navigate but didn't offer the non alcoholic on the booking so had to pay in person on day. We were unsure how busy these sessions would get so tried to call but was unable to get thru but they were quick to respond with Facebook messenger. Parking was bad but it's located at the yagan square(current under construction) and hard to find. Once found the area was so hot with no breeze. There was no air con inside and we were sat out side. We arrived on time and didn't receive our first round of drinks for 20 minutes. The instructions on how to order ect were really unclear so often over the course of the 2 hour session, one of us would have to go to the bar. We had 4 alcoholic drinkers and 3 non alcoholic drinkers. $55 for non alcoholic $80 for the cocktail package.
The platters of food were wonderful, the wings and calamari were the hit. The Turkish bread and dips were present although some bits toasted other bits not. The Cajun chicken bites tasted good but very dry and the vegetable dim sum was soggy and not that tasty but staff happily helped but to only bring Calimari and wings on request. The cocktails come in just 2 jugs per 2 property worked out. Most were not nice tasting but was nice to try. The glasses were small and full of ice and neing so hot we drank a few drinks quite quick with food. I have well and truly over 10 glasses and was not even a little bit buzzed. The drinks didn't seem like they had any alcohol and I believe were watered down or very very minimal amount added. The 1st just I could taste the Rum and was delicious the others tasted like juice. The non drinkers would request a new jug or drink and would have 1 or 2 come not 3. There were 2 staff so seemed understaffed for the demand possibly. When us drinkers asked for water and ice to drink between jugs were had to keep going up to the bar to request. I think the over all idea is great but definitely needs some adjustments. Was it an experience? Yes, would I return? no, would I recommend?...
Read moreI went out with a group of 7 of us for the limitless lunch, firstly the chicken wings and calamari was amazing! But the Turkish bread wasn't and some pieces were a little toasted, the other chicken was so dry, and the vegetable dimsum was soggy and very unappetizing. The cocktails came in jugs at two at a time, the place wasn't overly busy but they were slow at coming out, with us having to ask for more and then a 20 minute wait till the next lot came, in the course of two hours we asked for water and ice three times and didn't get it once. The three ladies that weren't drinking alcohol had trouble asking for their drinks and the server would return with only one drink when he had been asked for three. Our first two jugs of cocktails were strong and how we like them, but the rest seemed water down and for the amount some of us girls drank we should have been having a buzz. The venue was hard to find and parking was a bit of an issue but I can see the appeal of you work in the city to walk down and have a drink after work, but I wouldn't go especially. There was no air flow or breeze and it's so tucked away that it got quite stuffy. Big fans would be a great investment. I don't think I would return, and I wouldn't recommend it to people either. Was a lot of us repetitively asking for drinks and not...
Read moreDissapointed! The venue manager (Ras?) was a prototype of unprofessional customer service when I briefly popped in tonight to collect a bag I accidentally left behind on Friday. Prioritizing the handful of coins he was counting while seeing I was respectfully waiting for him to finish, he suddenly looked up at me and as I started speaking (without him even replying to my hello, to start off with), he pointed at his ears and said 'Listening!'. The look on his face portrayed such disrespect, lack of care and utmost unprofessional attitude that I have not seen in customer service in a long time. He passed me the bag over the bar without saying a word to which I asked his details. He suddenly extended his hand to shake mine and introduced himself with a smile. What a passive-aggressive attitude that was and I am gobsmacked that this is supposed to be a manager/ leader of a successful, affluent and popular venue in beautiful Perth. What a shame that the food...
