AND another update 1 year later. Just spent almost $70. so gave them another try (a few trys my partner likes the pizza with rocket on it), we use the loalty card, well we did not get our 10th pizza free I ordered extra stuff on my pizza this was not added. I called the store to say hey we didn't get our 10th free pizza we also paid $5 for extra toppings and did not receive them, I was told "oh yeah we sold out of those toppings and there is no manger to speak to". the person on the phone was really rude and pretended to take my details down, when I asked her to repeat my order she took a few min to find it proving she really didn't have a clue what order I was calling about. That will be the last time we order from crust liverpool too expensive and they refuse to refund products they we didn't even get. At this stage Crust Liverpool has had a year to fix there issues and I have given many chances. Also and more concerning there was sonthing really hard on my pizza a bit of bone maby the size of a tooth. I was unable to cut it with a knife and ended up not eating the rest of the pizza, thankfully I did not give that pizza to the kids as it had chillie so no dentist visits but still not good enough.
Another update 4 months later: so we ordered pizza from here again tonight and it was the best order yet. Pizza was hot, food was yum, good amounts of toppings. We ordered the 2 new pizzas one with hot honey and the other was pepperoni tropical thing, we also got the usual rocket and pursuito pizza. Delivery was faster then expected. Overall we are very happy with the improvement in service and food.
Update: The manager has contacted me and has said he will do 3 free replacement pizzas as a credit when we order next. He also apologised for the issues with our last order.
I have ordered 3 times from here. First time was great couldn't not fault it. The second time the food was good but delivered cold. The 3rd time was the worst. So I spent $72 on 3 pizzas and 2 boxes of the scroll things. I ordered a margaretta pizza. There was one half cerry tomato in each slice some chesse and that was it. No buffalo chesse no fresh basil. Nothing. All 3 pizzas where extreamly cold. When I called the guy sounded concerned and insisted on sending me a new pizza. The thing is we ate half the pizza and really didn't want more pizza I told the guy this, I honeslty could not be bothered trying to get a refund. I took a photo of what I got veres what I thought I was getting and it was rather amusing as it cost $22 for a pizza with 4 cherry tomato's cut in half and some chesse. Im not sure if I'll be ordering again. I appreciate that they are sending a fresh pizza but the other 2 pizzas where not the best eaither. Having been a delivery driver and pizza chefs in the past my self. I'd say the issue is with how long the pizza sat in store before being delivered and definitely with how it was made. The toppings where stingy at best. Not sure if this is to cut costs or if it was a genuine error. best to pick it up your self as at least then you can check the food and adress the issue instore before taking...
Read moreHad this for the first time as I've never tried CRUST before.
Delivery driver was good.
Ordered the half BBQ chicken and half Vietnamese chicken, cheesy garlic bread, and the conissieur ice cream for dessert. And along with chicken bites.
pizza was way too dry, not fresh ingredients were added
chicken bites were dry and tough Even dipping in sauce didn't help
cheesy garlic bread was probably the best meal I had overall along with the ice cream, even though cheesy garlic bread was different to the others like Domino's and pizza hut, but I prefer the Domino's cheesy garlic bread more. As it may be abit salty but it gives off more flavour too.
I'm overwhelmed by the good reviews and word of mouth when people say CRUST is good but expensive. Well, they're right about one thing. Being pricey. But food wise I do not agree. Can't believe I spent $58 worth ($57.45 to be exact) when this price should be going to things like Italian or German restaurants....
I heard some people say Johnny's near the Liverpool train station is better. But haven't had that for years and wouldn't be surprised if that changes too, as the time I went, I knew the older staffs.
CRUST Liverpool, sorry but never going back again. I paid almost $60 worth of your meals and you're lucky I didn't ask you for a refund.
Out of the whole boxes of pizza, I only had two slices, and the others took a bite and didn't like it. Ended up dumping the whole box afterwards. Worst pizza ever.
Sticking to Italian woodfired pizzas at proper...
Read moreJust called Crust Pizza Liverpool to redeem my free pizza as advised by the manager, after i got delivered a cold version 3 weeks ago. Staff had no record of my free Pizza, and the manager was unavailable at the time to confirm the transaction. Fair enough... After mentioning to the girl, me calling to claim my free pizza was not about the "Free" bit , but called up to give Crust a chance to get me back on board with any future pizza ordering, i was advised i would be charged for delivery.. What the ??. as that didn't go down too well i was then advised ok... we wont charge you for delivery but will charge you 1/2 price for the Pizza. LOL... Please tell me it was some junior starting her 1st week there. I reminded her i was not here for the free bit , but for Crust to show me why i should give my money to their establishment and not to there competitors. As it started to become too much of an effort from both sides i requested to forget the free pizza all together. I thought it would be quicker and simplified to get my pizza elsewhere. I am not a regular pizza ordering kinda guy , i may average maybe 1 every 2-3 months. I guess i will have to go back to the reliable Pizza INN on...
