had to ask a question prior to them opening as I did email them but with no response I arrived earlier on opening day and asked a question. The response I got for stock standard i.e. chicken chips and sauce and that was it didn’t fully answer my question as I had dietaries And wanted to ensure that whatever ingredients were in the sauces weren’t going to affect me needless to say I finally got a response as I was unsure. I knew what some of the ingredients were but the others I didn’t they then turned around and offered me just plain mayo as I wasn’t able to have any of the pickles chilli etc. Etc. They did ask would plain mayo be okay and I said yes as long as it was plain I didn’t expect to get a quarter of the bottle supposedly on there because that’s all I got In the wrap was minimal chicken Handful of chips and flooded with mayo Understandably that because I had the dietaries that it wasn’t going to taste as it should with all the other sauces and condiments that should’ve been on there and I accepted that however you could taste the chicken with the lovely spices and herbs but that’s as far as it went even with that I got a mouthful of mayo and that’s really all I could taste the other disconcerting point which is Why only four stars were given and technically I should actually reduce that more but because they went above and beyond to cater for my dietaries I left it at 4 stars what I observed was staff handling food without gloves on was NOT A PRETTY SITE to see
Who knows I may be back as there are other things on the menu that I would like to try sorry, didn’t get a picture of the wrap to show you but I can say that it was nice. I maybe would suggest using a little less mayo in that respect because then u would hv more chicken nd a better balance of flavour as the hero was meant to be the chicken but instead...
Read moreI've walked pass here many times to get home from work (from Parramatta train station to the new light rail behind Parramatta Square), and every time I walked around here at night, in the cold weather, the chicken that is being cooked on charcoals was amazing, I can't resist. Waiting for my friend to come there and eat with me but we could never make the time to meet here. So I decided to try it out solo tonight (Wednesday 09/07/2025). This is the first time I've been to the restaurant and the experience was great. The chicken cooked to perfection and the spicy sauce was excellent 👌, I loved the sauce, had the chicken with Lebanese bread and it was so delicious. The atmosphere and music 🎶 were great. The service was good but could be better if they could bring the water requested before the food was served as it makes the customer feel more welcoming (rather than waiting for the customers to actually order the food first before giving them water like tonight). Overall, it is a nice place to try the charcoal chicken in Parramatta. Thank you.
Update: I went back here last night (Thursday 10/07/2025 with my co-worker as it was my last day at the workplace with her). We had the chicken, Lebanese bread, spicy sauce and also tried the roasted broccoli and cauliflower salad. We both like the salad a lot as it was so delicious. The charcoal chicken was the best as always. And the services have been improved a lot since my last visit - the gentleman (Sorry, I didn't get your name) promptly brought the water and served us as well as took the order quickly. Thank you to Abby and the gentleman for the warm and...
Read moreWe had the best experience ever Henrietta. I came here with a large group for my birthday and had a great experience.
Their set menu is not too expensive at $65 pp and it was so much food! We were absolutely stuffed!
The hummus was was so good and creamy. I loved that the halloumi was served with grapes, so refreshing! The halloumi was also very nice itself, it had the sweetness of the honey with it too.
The lamb skewers were so good and it came with toum and it just went so well together.
The eggplant was my favourite dish, each piece was so light but crunchy. My only tweak would be that there was a little bit too much sauce.
We got to choose three salads as a group of 9. My favourite was the fattoush! Highly recommend.
The chicken was so juicy as well, so yum with the garlic sauce.
The chips were also nice and crunchy, really nicely seasoned too!
For dessert was asked if we could upgrade to the Dubai chocolate dessert and they kindly accommodated to our request for a small fee.
The Dubai chocolate was very rich and generous in the pistachio sauce and kataifi. It also had a bit of a caramel taste too, so yum.
The service was amazing here, we had Joy as our server and she was so fun and really great at accomodating our requests and questions at the menu! She gave us a lot of recommendations as well and even helped my friends prepare a candle on the dessert for me! So sweet. Even though we were one of the last customers, they did not rush us at all out of the restaurant which I really appreciated. We had some rubbish as well from gift wrapping and they kindly helped us. Joy truly lived up to...
