Mama B’s — Restaurant in Sydney

I am not a vegan myself but have eaten at many vegan establishments that offer various cuisines. I was excited to try the burgers and friend chicken pub style vegan! I was shocked at how poorly everything tasted. Dripping in oil and the one flavour throughout several different dishes I tried with my friends.

I'm not a fussy eater and don't mind some fat and oil but this was inedible and I'm surprised at the ratings this place has received.

Would never return to eat here again (staff were lovely) and I would advise the people reheating/cooking the food to taste it themselves. None of those dishes I would be proud to serve and my vegan friends would be mortified.

This is my new favourite pub in Sydney, though Mama B's takes pub food to the next level. All the staff are absolutely lovely and are dedicated to everyone having a great time. The menu is super extensive, ranging from burgers, tacos and fish and chips to classic dishes like mac'n cheese, or bangers and mash , delicious desserts and milkshakes . The variety of beer, cocktails and wines is impressive. Everything is vegan and will also satisfy your omni-friends. I am an unapologetic omnivore and I love meat, let’s just get that clear.

Mama B’s takes vegan to the next level It’s uncomplicated, delicious and so so satisfying with a couple of beers.

I have enjoyed B’s food for years now but am still always blown away by the flavours and her modern take on where sustainable, cruelty free cuisine should exist into the future.

If you have never tried vegan food or have been put off by the thought of something too ‘different’ then make Mama B’s your first entry into this world. You won’t regret it.
