Sneaky Possum — Restaurant in Sydney

Wanted to like this place, mainly because it's a nice place to try new beers (hence the 2 stars) , but there is always something. Today's issue (the one that would probably not make me come back) was that I ordered a barramundi with fries and salad,, fries and fish comes in and I approach the bar to tell the attendant that sorry, I ordered this and it didn't come with a salad". Then when I was eating some of the chips (cuz I was hungry and wouldn't wait till the issue was solved to start eating) the bartender comes and tells me - sorry but what you ordered doesn't comes with salad. So I had to grab the menu and tell him, "sorry but I didn't order the burger, I ordered the battered barramundi with salad and chips" so he rolls his eyes and goes away. BOUT 15 mins latter he returns with a small salad that I accepted, tried it and realises it didn't even had a dressing, I understand It might be the chefs first day. But owned, give your team some training, salad and dressing, just...

Absolutely love this place. The people made us feel so welcome the first time we ever stepped inside. Staff are amazing! They took the effort to show us their great outdoor area with gorgeous natural light, music room and intimate hiring room upstairs. Alongside having an incredible array of entertainment - from comedy to live music and an amazing alcohol range - they have amazing vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options. Getting a healthy poke bowl at crazy hours of the night when everyone else is closed - has really brought the biggest smile to my partner and my life. Thanks - you guys rock!!! Update July 2021: Sneaky Possum are keeping us in good spirits (literally & figuratively) throughout the lockdown - they're open for takeaway, and have a canning machine on hand so you can take home some amber liquid straight from the taps, super fresh. They've got tasty bites on offer also - the perfect accompaniment.

One of my absolute favourite places in Sydney. Awesome people, atmosphere, drinks & food. The taralga is super crispy and delicious, and is only $9/pint.
