The tea here is one of the nicer, much more perfected tea and milk tea stores in Sydney. They are fast and consistent.
Today, they were exceptionally fast, with only two workers, as every time I went. I feel bad, as you can see them vigorously shake the barista/cocktail shaker, their viens are easily visible from the waiting area, and making a drink about every 5sec, each.
They even had a consistent line of about 5-10ppl despite the super short waiting time (notically faster than fast food chains like McDonalds and KFC). Having worked at a restaurant before and currently working near a well-known bubble tea store, TS Express is very quick, especially knowing there are two workers.
The teas I've tried aren't too overpowering and are well balanced. However, I have had slight incorrect orders from here before. I believe it was due to miscommunication, as the flavours were correct, but the sugar levels were wrong. But today and the previous order were both correct.
I just wished the ordering had a bit more communication, and I feel like the writting on the cup is a bit difficult to understand sometimes, or when they have to recorrect how many cups in an order. I hope they could use a POS system (however, I know some POS systems are very messy to navigate). It will also help customers to confirm their orders if there is a screen for the customer to confirm - that means you wouldn't have to waste time repeating an order.
I hope all goes well and hope it gets easier soon!
Edit: they have a sign for each of the flavours, so you know which drinks are which - similar to Starbucks' shorthands for their...

TS Express has been a cherished part of my routine for quite some time now, and I've always found solace in their Tough Gary Milk Tea and Jolly Joyce Milk Tea. However, lately, I've noticed a slight shift in the quality that has left me reminiscing about the days when every sip was a delight.
In the past, the teas boasted a robust flavor profile that truly set them apart. While still enjoyable, there seems to be a subtle dilution in taste that's hard to ignore. As a loyal patron, I'm reaching out with the utmost respect and a gentle suggestion.
Your establishment holds a special place in the hearts of many, myself included, and I believe that maintaining the exceptional standards you've set is crucial.
I understand the need to adapt to the preferences and requests of your loyal customers, and it's commendable that you've taken steps to accommodate those who may have expressed concerns about caffeine levels in the past. However, I believe there might have been a slight oversight in balancing this adjustment with maintaining the robust flavor profile that many of us have grown to love about TS Express.
Would it be possible to explore alternative methods of achieving a milder caffeine content without compromising the integrity of the taste experience? I'm sure with your expertise and dedication to quality, there could be a solution that satisfies...
Read moreI used to be a fan, but I feel like the quality of TSE has dropped over the past month/recent visits.
There’s moments where I can taste very strongly the individual syrups and maybe even artificial flavours despite shaking the drink thoroughly. I’m sure the tea base is still the same and on par, but something has changed in the “spices” and “flavours” which are added to the tea base.
Used to be a fan of Bella Lavender but this time it was not very lavender, and tasted a lot sweeter / “berry flavoured” than past times despite ordering the usual 1/2 sugar, less ice.
Ambitious Sapa also tastes minty in a toothpaste/mint icecream way- masking the sencha, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
I always aim to try a new flavour each visit, and tried Crybaby Erica this time and it was quite pleasant and natural-tasting compared to the above but I still had the same problem of the flavours randomly being stronger/sweeter in some sips.
While disappointed, I can only hope TSE will be able to produce the same quality taste they had offered before, especially now that the drink prices have...
