Avoid at All Costs

My recent dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of dreadful. While our waitress was sweet, she was extremely slow. To make matters worse, a dirty table next to us remained uncleaned for over an hour.

The food was abysmal. The linguini with clams was awful, with minuscule clams, and the carbonara was essentially a soup of oil. The only redeeming feature was the wine, which was quite good and provided a small relief to an otherwise dismal evening.

However, the absolute worst part was the chef, who we assume is Italian. He spent the entire night shouting at the staff, making it hard to focus on our conversation. Our neighboring table also noticed and shared their discomfort. At one point, we overheard him asking a staff member, "I don't understand why I wasn't invited?" I have the answer: because you're an absolute nuisance!

We booked a table in advance, but when we arrived, they sent us upstairs to an empty room with no menus, no cutlery—nothing set up. Meanwhile, there was a few tables that were ready i feel we could of used. It felt like we were being pushed out of sight for no reason. maybe those tables were reserved,if so why weren’t they used?🤷 No one else showed up. It was supposed to be a special night for my partner’s son’s birthday, and instead it felt like we weren’t welcome. Really disappointing. I expressed this to the lady on paying the bill she said they was busy earlier and previous people had moved tables together ??
