Unfortunately the rude front desk lady “muni” charged incorrectly then consistently wouldn’t let me speak or explain myself as to why I was being charged for something I didn’t order. After explaining I didn’t receive the food, she rolled her eyes and said don’t worry don’t worry I wont charge you then with no apology or understanding around the situation. Asked her several times to stop and let me speak but she wouldn’t stop talking and saying don’t worry don’t worry putting her hand up~ I won’t charge. I was happy to pay the full price appose to special price as apparently I forgot to mention that I wanted the special - this was not the problem though. The problem is the full price item they charged me for I did not receive either but was being charged for it. Then was told that I should have listed the items of exactly what it was that I wanted, and I wasn’t clear enough so ingredient by ingredient . She also proceeded to blame it on the waitress who was actually quite helpful and said she took my order wrong. Zero accountability and no people skills. So far I have popped into this new great place the past 4 Friday nights and have felt so incredibly welcomed! I was originally looking for something my little girl would enjoy for dinner and the gentlemen who I soon found out was the new owner, so kindly offered to create a lovely plate for her to eat. The same for myself, as his sweet wife who also owns the cafe suggested I try the lamb curry, it was soooo delicious I am not kidding you!! You could tell it was freshly made and just wonderful. She was extremely friendly with us, my daughter who is a year & a 1/2 absolutely has taken a liking to them, it's becoming our regular Friday night spot! It is fantastic to see such a stunning renovation as the modern decor has really lifted the look! They are truly passionate about making certain you are well-looked after, I have observed how the staff are treated and it's truly impressive. I visited this cafe today at lunchtime as i wanted a meal and coffee, as soon as i got in there what looked to be the male owner was staring at me as i was the only there i felt very violated. The waitress came and got my order i ordered the fresh fish of day which was bassa and a soy latte, the waitress was very professional and prompt. I received my latte in 5 mins it was delicious my fish came out 20 mins later i was confused because i was the only one in there. I finally got my fish of the day the salad was wilted and over dressed with hardly any onion tomato cucumber which did not look fresh, the chips where soggy and over salted. Finally the fish was dry batter tasted like flour was not good, the fish smelt and had a very fishy off smell and it did not taste that well.
