Andaluz Bar & Tapas — Restaurant in Western Australia

A fantastic little tapas bar, food and drinks were delicious, wait staff were friendly, helpful and checked in on us numerous times to see if we needed anything which was great.

However, one little thing tarnished our experience here at Andaluz unfortunately, one of the bar staff (I believe his name was Harley) had an interaction with one of our waiters which we found very distasteful. There may have been some sort of mix up at the bar or something but the way he raised his voice and shouted at the poor waitress in front of the customers to the point where it went quiet in the venue and everyone stopped and stared was straight up disrespectful. In a loud operating, busy setting shouting things like "are you serious" and "how could you not hear me?" in a very mean and condescending tone just didn't sit right with me, and here is the kicker.... the waiter was wearing a hearing aid so she was obviously hard of hearing to begin with but to torment a fellow employee in front of customers like that must have been really embarrassing and degrading.

Once again the service was really good and the food was spectacular it just really is a shame that the one bar man was just so disrespectful to his fellow...

It doesn't even warrant 1star. Used to really enjoy this place but last night will definitely be our last time we spend our money there. The bad vibes started when I initially arrived 15 minutes before my wife and was told by the "couch nazi" that I couldn't sit on the couch by myself even though there were 3 couches vacant at the time. I was shown to a very uncomfortable wooden chair and TOLD to sit there. Had a beer while waiting for my wife and had decided to leave once she arrived. Upon her arrival one of these still vacant couches suddenly became available and we were told told that there was table service. Waited 10 minutes and no sign of table service so I went up to the bar and got our drinks. Another 10 minutes went by before the "couch nazi" came up to take our order with no apology for taking so long. To cut a long story short the service was poor bordering on rude and we will not be frequenting this establishment again. Where do I even start with this place!!! Let’s start with the drinks we started with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a few cocktails stop it!!!! Than we started on the egg plant and I hate egg plant and I could of ate the whole plate to myself but I was there with 4 people so I couldn’t be a pig haha I honestly can’t remember the rest of the dishes names but I will say they were all off tap!!! My pics below will show everything we got. I definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be going back not just because of the food but the service the lady that served us she was absolutely terrific she talked us through every dish every drink and recommended us a couple of things but we literally went through the whole menu and ate everything. Only thing I didn’t like was the ribs it was a bit salty and small for the price BUT that won’t stop me from going back!!! Nearly forgot to mention the deserts...
