It was our first time here, used first table on a Tuesday night, and had a rather disappointing experience. We ordered ciders, were told they were sold out, so were the pork belly, and the triple cooked fries was substituted with shoestring fries that clearly came frozen out of a bag. We weren’t told they were out of the triple cooked chips until after the food was served. On top of that, the medium rare sirloin arrived almost well done, was so dry and tough, my teeth hurt from chewing it. I tried my partner’s scotch and the difference between the steaks were day and night. I understand that scotch steaks are a lot more fatty and tender but the sirloin should not have been this bad. Feedback was given to one of the servers. Service was ok. Probably wouldn’t return, even at 50% off it wasn’t worth it.

I ordered the Good Friday Dinner tonight: Salmon with Pakchoi, Kohlrabi, Young Coconut and green Chili with wild rice with a hefty price tag of 40AUD Sounds sumptious and yummy, doesn't it? Well, the filet had about 180gr. It was decorated onto 4 pieces of pakchoi topped by a bit of waferthin sliced kohlrabi. The wild rice were 25 crispy rice seeds decorated around the salmon(looked like wurms) and tasted like nothing. I was expecting a meal but not a "Haute Cuisine" portion for that kind of money. And what else? Well for this special meal I could not get the discount or points. This is only given to orders from the regular menu. So I was disappointed twice. The waitress listened to my complaints in a polite manner, but nothing else.

There are not many restaurants opened on Sunday along this stretch. We found this after returning our rental car before leaving for the airport. Restaurant is on 2nd floor is the hotel. The sitting area is next to the full panel windows and can get quite hot and stuffy. We ordered a chai latte, a margherita pizza and a roasted pork belly with scallops. Pizza was OK, nothing to shout about. The scallops on the pork belly was delicious. The pork belly itself was not really seasoned, not much flavour. Crackling was good though. It really needed the green apple slaw that came with it to make it palatable.

It's been a few months since I dined here and I'm pleased to say, everything was fantastic as before. Our waitress was Cooleen and even though it was busy (Wednesday night) she was calm, friendly and focused. Big thank U to the team who attended to all the details of drinks, share plates and presentation, as well as to the wonderful chef and his brigade who cooked this delicious meal alongside their crispy potato wedges starter (sorry no picture of them this time, but trust me, they're that good!) which I gladly paid extra for! 🙏 See you all again soon

Staff did their best in the circumstances and the garlic bread is the only thing worth praising. The steak was cooked not to order (so well-done it was purple when it was ordered medium-rare) and the pizza dough was not proofed enough.. we left half the food on the table. Mains arrive over 1hr after starters. Would never go there again nor recommend it at all.

I had dinner at Eastside Social Restaurant & Bar located inside the ibis hotel East Perth. The roast chicken with mashed potato is good. Meat is fresh and tender. Mashed potato is smooth. However the chips are rather thin and not crispy enough. The waitress took the order and served the food is friendly and fast. The seatings and atmosphere is comfortable.
