Firstly let me say, we love this place. The location is fantastic and the beer is absolutely on point. The thing that lets it down, over and over, is the quality of the food. The last two times we’ve eaten here, we had a Caesar salad and the seafood board, and our daughter the cheese burger. The seafood has been so over cooked each time that it was practically inedible. The mussels were stone cold in a tomato sauce, the fish pieces dry and overcooked and the squid deep fried to within an inch of its life. It was rock hard and completely dried out. The other dish on the board is crab meat (I think) wrapped in a pastry and fried and tastes ok, but has always been over cooked too. The prawns wrapped in noodles were dry as a bone too. The salad was ok, but very sparse - just lettuce leaves, a few anchovies and a ton of dressing. There were no bits of bacon as it should be, but that could be the style here. The burger is always very overcooked and the edges of the cheese dry and hard. We will keep going here for a drink, but we won’t eat here again. It’s not cheap by any measure and it’s turned out to be a waste of money for the food. When we got up to leave two servers came over to clear our table and asked if everything was ok, and I replied not really as you can see from the food we left. The beer was great though. The girl looked at me for a bit then said, thanks have a great day. 😂🙄

What a shocker lunch was with my two boys. Took an hour to get our food - my burger was stone cold (which the barman refunded for me when I took it back), and my eldest's "popcorn chicken" was actually mini chicken kievs that looked like they were from the Coles freezer section (see photo). My youngest actually enjoyed his kids fish and chips, but both were baffled as to why there was no burger option on the kid's menu. The manager tried to tell me that the problem was no one had made a booking. Well, I had and the reason I did was because it's the Christmas holidays. Oh, and they've gotten rid of their beers, so it's full of the commercial junk on tap now. However, the Pale Ale is still on tap and wasn't too bad. My advice is, despite the view, stay well away!

Nice place on The Point, to have either a casual drink with family and friends or even a relaxing cocktail or more with a loved on. High bench tables and chairs outside undercover with sun shades overlooking the beautiful swan River with views of South Perth. Or on the lower deck on a low bench seat/ table with umbrellas and again overlooking the Swan River. Inside has an industrial feel with low relaxing chairs or high chairs. Food options are average with prices on par with touristy locations and average taste. Bar options are vast, with selections of beers, ginger beers, ciders, wines, spirits ( limited) snd cocktails. Parking is I must say very expensive even for acrod cars, so best to walk, bride, catch uber or what ever is best.

Yeahhh naaaa this place sucks! Stunning location on the river in East Perth with a lot of potential. Our visit was for a Saturday night function we had been invited too. I'd guess approx 120 guests and our area was sectioned off with access to a private bar. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised, a lovely space and stunning river views however things started to go downhill as soon as I reached the bar. I'd been hanging to try the range of craft beers on tap at this "brewery". In front of me was about 7 beer options and my plan was to work my way through them, on asking for my first beer I was told most of them were out of stock. Not a great start but I'll get over it. Anyway, out of the 2-3 beers that I was able to try they were nice which was a positive. Throughout the night I attended the bar multiple times so interacted with the staff quite often, while they were friendly it didn't seem as though they'd ever worked in a bar before. They weren't sure how to make basic drinks, were painfully slow at serving and generally seemed to be in La La land most of the time. The bar also ran out of Prosecco about an hour in and lime soon after that. Food wise I'm a big eater and if I'm getting on it I need to eat as well. I'm not sure if it was included or not but most functions I've been to the staff passes the food around to the guests, at this place the staff would bring the platter out and dump it at the most convenient table or spot on the bar and leave it there. I'd be doing the maccas run on the way home.

I could go on but I won't, my advice, avoid the place! There's just too many great spots around our city to risk your Saturday here. Until they sort out the mismanagement of the place, train staff and get adequate stock in this place won't be worth the trip. If you're contemplating having your function here you really need to rethink you're decision, unless you want 100 disappointed guests. AVOID...

So, "I'm not a beer drinker" but wow... I have been educated! Had a great time with tasting lots of varieties of beer, and the team gave me guidance to push me out of my comfort zone and try something completely new.

As a "non-beer drinker" I expected to like the lightest varieties, but I actually ended up enjoying a very traditional German style. I forget the name, but it smelt like banana and it was so so super smooth. Completely unexpected! Again, I was guided by the amazing bar staff to give it a try and I'm glad I did.

It was crazy busy when we arrived (4 of us in total) but the staff had everything flowing pretty smoothly, which is admirable. Every touch point with the team was friendly, engaging and more importantly for me, educational.

The 4 of us ended up staying much longer than we'd planned because we had everything we needed right there, so it was nice to not have to bar hop and just enjoy the incredible food (jalapeno was fire!) and easy vibes. The venue is generous, but it actually doesn't feel overwhelming because they have created separate areas without cutting the space into pieces. You could have an area sectioned off for a private function I imagine, but still feel like you're part of the whole space

Well done everyone for making it a memorable night, we'll be back with more friends in tow next time. I'll continue my new...
