Read moreI got a lot of cups of coffee and asked a paper bag for them because it was necessary to carry them in good condition. However, a male staff said that he wouldn't rather provide me the bag because it is not good for nature. I said again that I really needed it because it was very difficult to carry them without the bag. After that, he provided me the bag and said that it is on my cause to kill nature. It was very rude behavior and I did not like it at all. If he really cares about nature, why does he use plastic cups, paper bags and etc? I understand if the paper bag is not necessary for this situation and he refused it, however, obviously, I got such a lot of cups of coffee and asked the bag very politely.
I do not think his thinking is wrong but my point is he can think whatever he wants and it does not matter if his opinion is correct or not. He does not need to say to customers unless we are polite. I am really wondering he thinks their business using plastic and paper stuff is not killing nature at all. This is the first time to complain to some restaurants. I know many restaurants and cafes try to protect and care about nature. His behavior can give bad reputation to this industry. This experience is very...
Read moreI've had 3 out of my last 4 UberEats orders cancelled and generally close to 1 hour after I have made them to Uplift over the past few weeks. Great when you get your order, but entirely unreliable in doing so. Won't be using them again and would recommend anyone not attending the store in person to avoid using them entirely. Unfortunately terrible customer service on their behalf.
EDIT: Orders were never accepted by the store after being put through the app, left on received and never updated to preparing or moved to ready to alert the delivery partner. I order in the CBD often and this is the ONLY location to have this happen. If this is Ubers fault I would recommend you take it up with them as you're being...
