I first apologise that I cannot address the specific member of staff in this review as she refused to tell me her name. Although she claimed that the cafe is a family-run business and that she does not have a manager, I feel it would be unjust to judge the whole cafe with historical value based solely on her. When I visited the shop, upon entering I said “excuse me” to grab the server’s attention, she said “one moment” (or claimed to have said, all I heard was German) in an angry voice. When she was finished sorting out her money, she shrugged her shoulders and said “now you can speak to me”, again angrily. I asked how many Mozart Balls are in a small bag, she shouted in an extremely ride manner, 5, shrugging her shoulders again like I am an idiot. I therefore had to feel extremely uncomfortable to ask again about the larger bag, to which she shouted again. When I asked her name to write a review, she said she “does not understand” repeatedly, saying that I have no reason to write a review, and that she will not tell me her name as I should accept the way she talks. When I asked to speak to her manager, she said that there is no manager. She then offered 2 Mozart Balls in return for me not writing a review, I did not take the offer. I had high expectations for this cafe, visited in excitement as I heard that this is the place with original and best quality Mozart Balls. I must say I am disappointed with the service I received and would like an apology. She is the lady with brown hair,...
Read moreThe old waitress offers unforgettable discriminatory attitude to us. The lady came to us for order even before both of us sat down. I said we needed some time to think about it. Turned out we took some a bit longer to think about what to order as one of us is a kid and we are tourists. The kid didnt see that it had a time limit for breakfast and asked for it to the waitress. Wow, she then expressed with a strong attitude: first she just pointed to the time limit to tell us there is no breakfast anymore. Then she just turned around sharply. I needed to raise my voice for my own order - a drink. When she turned back, she started to blame „you think and think and think … „ with a face full of hatred while talking about the breakfast thing and what else we wanted to order. In the end, I ordered two hot chocolate and she just gave us one. But we didnt correct that mistake as the chocolate was not tasty actually.
Why discriminatory, you ask? Well, she acted sooooo much nicer with a loooooot more smiles, explanations, chitchat with other local customers! Hilarious! My question is, what’s the problem we took some time to think through what we want? They didnt have any notice about any restrictions. There were still a lot of empty seats! I looked around, and realised, there were only local customers!! Maybe this is there tactics to avoid asian people!
side story: The other old man (waiter or manager) also gave us a funny attitude. But it doesnt deserve more of my time to...
Read moreUsually I don't leave negative reviews, but I really did not feel comfortable sitting here. I understand that it became a bit busier after I had already received my overpriced cappuccino. But it was hard even ordering it, the waiter barely turned towards me after taking the man's order at the table right next to me. I was thinking about getting a pastry but I could barely say, "cappucc-" before he said "okay" and left. I let that go. However, I spent maybe 20 minutes there sipping it and reading a book. The man next to me paid by flagging the same waiter down. He cashed him out, looking greatly annoyed. I asked him if I could pay as well. He held up his hand and said, "one second". Okay no problem. I checked the time. I had waited 10 minutes and he was making more drinks without once ever coming near me. So I went to the woman at the register asking if I could just give her money for my drink. Her brows furrowed and she told me to sit while pointing at the same waiter that hadn't come back to me. I sat back down for 5 minutes. He did not look at me once. I left the amount on the table plus an extra euro. (I usually tip no matter what because I have worked in the customer service industry for a long time.) I went to the bathroom. The money was untouched and he wasn't anywhere in sight, so I left.
I wish it was a better experience. I don't think I blame them, it was busy. But it wasn't hard to just take my coins after giving me...
