China-Restaurant An Bing — Restaurant in Salzburg

If just one person reads this and decides to skip this restaurant my job will be done. Greeted and served by a rude waitress. She practically yelled the teas they had despite the restaurant not being loud. After waiting for around 20 minutes I was told they had no noodles for my veggie noodles, and if it was okay if they made fried rice instead. They were not apologetic AT ALL. They kept insisting on making the rice. Luckily my mom was insistent on the veggie noodles, since that was the only reason I came (vegetarian and rice hater) so we switched out another noodle dish we ordered. Soon after we received our first dishes, and then 6 minutes later we received the last of our dishes except for my noodles. So I had nothing to do while waiting for my food, which didn’t arrive until everyone in my family had already finished eating. When we asked about my food the waitress responded casually and rudely, she didn’t even pretend to be concerned at all. I got my noodles like 40 minutes later, if even. It was so salty, just like me. But I actually did crunch on several salt pieces.

Very good! We ordered several dishes to have a sort of „buffet“ and so we there was quite a diversity of tastes and ingredients. The white rice was warm enough, the fried rice was really tasty and the amount of vegetables accompanying the meat had just the right consistency, throughout. The waiting time between ordering and recieving the food was, it may have seemed so because of external factors like hunger, too long. Though that is the only thing I can criticize. It was not salty at all (I don’t know how the other reviews have had this experience), though the Jasmin Tea may have neutralized...

Two tour groups were there when we were there. A bit too salty. The owners didn't seem to care much. Took like 8 minutes in an empty restaurant to get the bill as he was busy talking to his friend. All dishes seemed to use the same ingredients. The restaurant could use a good cleaning as that typical dirty floors and furniture you might get in China. Can't believe got a high rating on another frequent trip...
