This was absolutely one of the best places we have eaten schnitzel in all our many trips to Austria. This place was recommended to us by a local security guard after visiting Hohensalzburg and it was the best recommendation ever. For less than 12.00 Euros, you will receive the best schnitzel ever. Unbelievable prices for so much delicious food and the apple strudel with vanilla sauce is to die for. Note you will have to look for this hidden gem, which is inside and at the back of a tourist souvenir store. It's located on the way to Hochensalzburg Castle. So, it could be a nice alternative to eat/drink something on your way to the castle if you want to have a break around Kapitelplatz.
