Once again, my theory that family restourants are the best experience is confirmed! When people do something with their full hearts, everyone around can feel it. The energy of this place is powerful! Very cosy, muted light, music is pleasant and light, people are warm and make you feel at home. Moving to the food part: the beef fillet fills your heart with pure joy. It was one of the best I have ever had and I have been to Michelin restaurants! (sorry for the picture, I couldn't wait to try it) The apple struden was nothing less than the best! Whilst visiting Salzburg we had a meal here. From the moment we stepped inside the door we felt special. The restaurant is very intimate and we were treated extremely well. The meals were fantastic, beautifully presented and tasted perfect. The chef and staff must have a passion for their craft as it showed in the smallest of details. We were explained to the different dishes and wines that would accompany them. Me being non-alcholic we unfortunately didn't sample the wine. The meal was without doubt one of the best meals I've ever eaten. The host made sure we were attended to at every moment. We'll definitely be visiting again when we visit Salzburg again in December. We were looking for a good restaurant and actually got one of the best experiences I ever had!

The place is beautiful and inviting. Refined but not too posh or bureaucratic. Good cutlery and glassware both in looks and quality.

The staff service was friendly, care-full, efficient and consistent. You could see that they had a well designed process and everyone knew and followed it. The wine glasses constantly filled.

The food was absolutely delicious and straight to the point. Nothing over the top with fancy names. Just perfectly made and well presented. This rule applies from the bread, butter (specifically good) and starters to the deserts.
