Atmosphere: Good atmosphere in a small street with perfect service. And if you are eating close to night scene they give you a cute little lamp on the table. Clean and fancy.
Service: Everyone was very kind every moment.
As a side note for example.. They were thinking straight forward for you. I didnt even have to mention that i needed the bathroom. They just point out where i had to go. Wow💪. This might be akward or funny but. Business minded. This is strong management.
And if you love these people of this restaurant. They even have the time to take a picture with you it seems. Delightfull.
Drinks: They know their stuff well. Blossom cocktail was mixed balanced.
And a kaiser premium beer was proper served in also a clean soap free glass 😉.
Food: Perfect, on time . Clean. Clean kitchen tools and sticks.
Allergies: Consciously and clearly noted on the menu which allergies are present in the food. And they do care about your allergies.
Toilets: A bit outdated. Small but clean.
Example:
For like a small beer, blossom cocktail. Rice noodle rolls. Seiting serving. Rice cake serving. Baked banana. Around 54 euros for 2 persons which is not expensive at all.
They package the rest of the food on the plate if you want and also asks some couple of euro cents for it. Which is respectfull. These people need to also buy it of course ! :-) Dont...
Read moreWe are a Vietnamese & Austrian family. We did try all the Chinese Restaurants in town and somehow being tired of their industrial ready-made sauces which are extremely sweet or salty. We were almost giving up and rather cook at home. However, through a friend who has good experience with Yuen, we decided to give this restaurant a try. +Food: What we ordered : 1/2 roasted duck, non - vegan Mapo Tofu and Sweet Darling ( Stir fired beef and chicken with Asian Veggies.) -The duck was a blast! 10/10 The dish was served hot, the skin was still crispy after sometimes, the sauce was fantstic! Thank you for serving the duck as how it should be served in Vietnam, China, Taiwan and Hongkong! ( Chopped pieces of Duck together with bone.) Sweet Darling : 10/10 Fresh veggies, sauce was homemade ( I could taste it.) -Mapo Tofu : 7/10 Could be more minced meat and it was quite plain when you pair with rice. +Service: The middle - aged waitress was vey helpful and friendly! The owner was informative! In general : Yuen...
Read moreThe restaurant welcomes you with a remarkable interior designed on an oriental themed restaurant. Place is almost like a fine dining setting that is very usual of higher price points.
Had tried their Hong Kong Style duck and Spring Onion Beef.
Hongkong Fried Duck, was surprisingly decent. Though it isnt as juicy, it does have its crispy skin. This however, is not the known Peking duck. And that said, amongst many chinese restaurant that simply frys their battered duck and calling it crispy duck, this does have a better likeness to that of Hongkong.
We also tried the spring onion beef. It was done nicely, beef wasnt overcooked, flavour was pretty great. However, i do note that the beef in the dish isn't in an abundance and also buried amongst the vegetables and onions. Does hit me with - "is it worth the price for this dish?"
But all in all, for its location in a touristic spot of Altstadt and the beautiful interior. I think the prices is reasonable, but perhaps portions could have been better to justify...
