Absolutely amazing! The food here was delicious, and the burgers are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I went with the “create your own” option and put together a masterpiece: mushrooms, spicy mayo, an onion ring, and cheddar cheese on a brioche sesame bun. It was beyond tasty! We tried three types of fries—sweet potato, regular, and chili cheese—all were fantastic, especially the chili cheese fries with tangy jalapeños adding the perfect kick.
The drinks were refreshing too; we had lemon soda, elderberry, and Weißbier, all of which paired perfectly with our meal. We also couldn’t resist the mac and cheese, which came as two deep-fried blocks—so crispy and flavorful!
Service was top-notch—quick and attentive without feeling rushed. We tried a variety of burgers, including the Classic Chicken, Little Italy, and White BBQ, and each one was juicy, crunchy, and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were just right, and the kid’s meal options, like the crunchy chicken strips, were a big hit as well.
The location is ideal, just a short walk from several tourist attractions and shops. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there are spots within a few minutes’ walk, so it’s manageable.
Overall, highly recommended! A great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a top-notch burger experience in a...
Read moreThere was a line out the door but we luckily snagged a big table. My classic cheeseburger wasn't very big or filling; the patty disintegrated and I couldn't really taste much of the beef, cheese, or onion. The sweet potato wedges were very good though. Superfries (we tried Italian pesto and another jalapeno nacho cheese one) were smaller than expected and not that special. The food wasn't very satisfying; I felt like I needed a whole second dinner afterwards (even other colleagues who got the double patty with bacon or double chicken felt the same; everyone was still hungry, so we had to order a huge second round of fries/wedges/onion rings/chicken fingers after the initial round of salad and two superfries). Chicken fingers were crunchy and the most substantial but a bit chewy. They have a variety of hipster sauces, like blueberry ketchup, if you like that kind of thing.
*Hygiene: A colleague saw a grill cook clean something off the floor without removing his food preparation gloves and then go back to preparing food without changing the gloves. She tried to confront him about it, but he told her he didn't speak English and referred her to a waiter, who upon hearing her complaint, also claimed to not speak English. And then they closed the door to the...
Read moreRight… where do I start with this below average burger restaurant…
Firstly myself and my partner queued up for over 35min, once we were in we ordered just classic burgers with sweet potato fries.
My burger came quickly! Whilst my partner sat opposite me twiddling her thumbs as her burger was yet to arrive. I asked the waiter how long it would be he said it’s coming right away. After waiting for nearly 20minutes and no burger I asked again. Only to be told “I’m so sorry your order was not put through”
So I told them to take my burger away and bring back both burgers at the same time.
The waiter soon returned with both burgers, after apologising profusely, he said that one of the burgers and fries would be “on the house”.
When the bill came all they had removed was the fries. Nonetheless, I was happy to pay for the entire meal.
Anyway. The point I’m making is don’t waste your time queuing up for this below average burger. Go to Five guys down the road and I’m sure you’ll have a better experience.
I’ve seen better burgers at homeless shelters. Be smart. Don’t make the same mistake queuing...
