I got invited in whilst waiting for my brother, whom I’m visiting in Vienna, to come down to let me in to the apartment complex. A member of the staff asked if I wanted to wait inside the restaurant, as it was a bit cold outside, which itself is a very nice gesture. In the restaurant, he proceeded to ask if I wanted anything to drink whilst waiting - I said a water could be nice, and he came back with water and a delicious elderflower & lemon lemonade. After a couple of minutes, he came back with bread and paprika hummus which was DELICIOUS! Already this was way too kind. Ten minutes or so passes, and he comes back with the best salad I’ve had in my entire life, the dressing was something out of this world. I have it, go to thank him and ask to pay, and he refuses to let me pay - it was apparently payment enough for them to make a strangers day. My brother still hadn’t arrived and they let me stay, and brought me dessert (crepes with strawberries - again AMAZING).
I can’t thank the fantastic staff enough. Everyone met me and all the actual paying customers with the biggest smiles and fast and warm service. It really touched me and I left the restaurant with a full belly and a warm heart.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. You did not only make my day but restored my faith in humanity - I did not believe kind people like this still existed.
I hope to see you again. Thank...
Read moreI strongly recommend not going to this place! I went there during lunch when the restaurant was not busy. The waiter saw me waiting by the front door but never came to seat me. I tried to speak to him, but he avoided making eye contact. So I took a seat to wait and ended up waiting for another 10 minutes. I thought he had forgotten about me, even though the place wasn’t full. When I approached someone who looked like the manager to ask for a menu, he started complaining—in very good English—that I hadn’t received a menu because I seated myself instead of waiting. He implied, arrogantly, that I must have never been to a restaurant before. The treatment was very rude and impolite, and I suggest that this restaurant should have a “Please Wait to Be Seated” sign or someone prepared to welcome customers, as...

Myself and my wife went for lunch at this restaurant today during a 24 hour stop off in Vienna.
We were shown to a table why a waitress that did not say a word to us. She walked away and left us at the table for 10 minutes without a menu or any indication her coming back.
Finically she returned and said “to drink” ( we still did not have a menu). We ordered a coffee each and asked if they were serving food. Waitress rolled her eyes and walked off without saying another word.
We waited and waited and after 15 minutes left the restaurant.
Totally a dismal service and made us feel completely unwelcome.
I understand she might have had a bad day but she made us feel extremely unwelcome.
Did not try food or drink so...
