Schesch Besch Restaurant (Middle Eastern Cuisine - Shisha Lounge) — Restaurant in Vienna

My husband and I discovered this place on a vacation last year and we instantly fell in love with it. This year we've been staying in Vienna for over a month and literally every time we would end our day having shisha and cocktails in this place.

We met the staff pretty well and have all the best things to say about them. The service is on the spot, all of them are making a great team. Gordan and Osman are so hospitable and friendly that they literally make you feel at home. Emrah and Bilal are both extremely nice and professional, always having good recommendations of food and drinks. Sakir is making wonderful coffee and doing all the magic behind the bar and Juma and Basel are making the best shisha in the world. They are really magicians that always make sure to communicate what we are in the mood for and make the best combination possible.

At least several times a week we would also have lunch or dinner here. The service was fast and the food was great, always so tasty. We would highly recommend Slow cooked Spareribs, Lachs vom Grill, Shuarmakebap Platte and Vegetarische Mixplatte. For desserts we loved having Knaffe, Katmer and Feigenstrudel.

Either you want to start the day here with good coffee (you must try Turkish one here) or tea, or have a nice meal in good company, or just relax in the evening having shisha and drinks, you are definitely in the right place!

Hummus Platter: Creamy, smooth, and drizzled with olive oil, the Hummus Platter is a must-order. Served with warm, fluffy pita bread, it’s the perfect starter – simple but full of depth.

Shisha: The shisha setup is equally impressive. With a variety of flavors and a clean, well-maintained setup, it’s a great way to unwind. The double apple and mint flavors are especially refreshing and long-lasting.

Beers: Their beer selection is well-curated to complement the food – chilled to perfection and served promptly. Turkish and international options are available, making it easy to pair your kebab with your favorite brew.

Today we had a fabulous dinner! The ambience of Schesch Besch is relaxed. The restaurant is located in really pleasant surrounding! The dining rooms elegantly decorated. Felt very comfortable! The waiters are warm and friendly. We enjoyed the full tasting menu! The food was delicious as was the wine! Firstly, we were presented with lovely and delicious appetizers. Their presentation was as stunning as the taste! It was a mixture of textures with nothing out of place! The flavors of lamb, fish, vegetables were quite frankly genius! Each corse was a triumph and taste sensation! Even the bread was freshly cooked, warm and perfectly served! All food was clearly the work of a very talented chef cooks and their wonderful team! It was the best food I have eaten in Austria! The service was exemplary and impeccable. The staff were brilliant: helpful, very attentive and not intrusive! Top class food, top class drink, top class service! A great experience all round! I enjoyed every second being there!
