Sadly I have to give my latest experience only 3 stars as In-dish was our favourite indian restaurant in Vienna. The restaurant itself went through renovations lately and the restaurant features now very nicely like an early 1900s colonial style interior decoration. It is well done and provides a comfortable atmosphere. The service was good although confused sometimes but you don't eat out in Vienna for the good service so it doesn't really matter. What I was really disappointed about was the new menu that came with the renovations. Generally the food was really tasty and did not change flavour-wise but the overall "quality" or rather "composition" was lacking. As an example we ordered the samosa dish as an appetizer for 10 Euro and all that came was 1 tiny like really tiny samosa in a silver bowl with one sauce and a mint chutney. You could not even finish one of the sauces with the samosa and it looked very uncaringly placed. Its just not what i expect for 10 Euros, it was very underwhelming especially if you compare it to the previosly available samosa which was bigger and therefore could be shared by two people (and looked and tasted great, it had some great sauces). Also the Bengali Jackfruit-Beetroot Croquettes, although very tasty, were lacking in the presentation part for a 14 Euro dish (3 croquettes with sauce on a massive empty plate). I also ordered the In-dish Kabab which was fine presentation wise but was massively lacking amount wise, like for 27! Euros i got four wrapped cevapcici sized (ca. 8-10 cm) meat sticks wrapped in bread with some rice which was, again very tasty, but did not satisfy my hunger to such an extent where I could have easily eaten another portion. And a thing that really upset me was the singular naan bread. It was more like pizza in comparison to the naan I had before in the same restaurant, which was not only two pieces but also soft, nice, had personality and did not taste like pizza dough. Other than that our visit was fine, we were just really disappointed in our visit because our experience before was so good and now it was overshadowed by what felt like little food for lots of money. In total we paid like 84 Euros for two peoplewhich was fine in the past because it felt justified but today it really just did not. I am usually not a person who is like: "back in the days everything was better" but in this...

This wasn’t our first rodeo and we have come here a lot of times , I booked the table many weeks in advance for lunch and when we came in many tables were empty on the quiet side with two people occupying the four seaters and we requested for the same and we were denied and walk ins were given those even if they were two people . This was the first red flag . The rest was something we didn’t expect to happen , because their service had been never this worse . I ordered pani puri shots and requested the person taking orders not to include tamarind chutney and he kept insisting he can’t do that and I couldn’t take it anymore and I told him politely that it’s not our first time and it’s simple , I always request them to skip the tamarind chutney on the yoghurt garnish and they always do it and he nodded his head visibly irritated and didn’t even want to listen what I was trying to explain. I also asked him politely if he was new because we have never experienced this and informed him that he can speak to someone else for confirmation.
We ordered the blackened Rava fried fish and it was dry and smelled bad . The Dum mutton biryani ordered was old and reheated and served . The reheated oil in it had changed its flavour and gave us indigestion and acidic symptoms later . The Tofu curry my spouse had ordered was salty.
We ordered desert and what came was lots and lots of crushed biscuit on which they have topped some strawberries and some cream and called it as coconut murabba . Never eaten such poorly made desert at a fine dining place . All I ate was only powdered biscuit . Everything was disappointing . The quality like everyone has been mentioning has completely degraded . But for a expensive fine dining like this one where you pay higher prices , the service and quality of food served is unacceptable. This used to be also my favourite go to places which I also have recommended to many people and always taken my friends and family here always. I took my time to think whether to write what happened or to let it go. But the whole experience with the staff and food has left a very bad taste and memory . We won’t be...

Being Honest now
Food was just fine , not wow or had truly Indian taste as expected and heard from reviewed It is either of 2 , myself being an expert with indian food around hundred resturant around the world so my standards are high! Ot their food is just regular
I ordered one mutton biryani and one butter chicken with a cola!
The rice was not fresh at all at seems at was re heated tbh was hard and looked un fresh Their biryani was good but not as much gravy as expected , it was quite dry for me but the cooking and chew of the mutton was fine and good
Their raita is good but yellowish not of the usual raita i am used for but was nice to be honest!
Food was 5/10
Atmosphere is just fine i say inside alone , but quite dark it was for me
Service was good by one staff and bad by the rest!
I asked for ice more than 7-8 times from my first waiter he kept ignoring and saying busy and took him much time Had to ask 3 other staff and kept saying ok but never got ice for my cola which really bothered me! Then finally a very lovely nice staff showing in the video came with ice and was truly nice and welcoming away from the reat
However , i didn’t like how they bring the bill , the staff did NOT give me a bill or a chique ! But only said you have to pay this amount and gave me the machine!
I paid it without saying a thing But it was not nice thing to do so , all customers must have their bill and check it them selves so they know what they are paying for.
I shared my view on my personal IG page:@Salem_95
And asked the waiter to bring my mango lacy as they promised if shared on ig they will give a complimentary laci
Special thanks To Mr .Joshi It was nice mango lacy , but was not too cold
Otherwise all good, could...
