We have been here three times and it has never failed. Why we love this restaurant: fresh pasta, wonderful wine list with eclectic choices, solid service, outdoor seating, prices are very reasonable for the first district, and wonderful food. Tuscan style kitchen with the regional fresh ingredients represented en masse. One of our favorite places in Vienna. We had a starter, scallops and a tuna tartar. Very, very fresh, both wild caught and kight, clear food with no ingredients pusing in front of the flavor of the seafood. We next had pasta, meat raviloi and fettuccine, both fresh made that day. Superb. They also serve wonderful beef, from Tuscany that can be shared family style.

Torrential thunderstorms meant we dashed out early for dinner and had to sit inside. The waiting staff were fine with this. Beef tartare needed extra seasoning and missed the customary egg yolk, however the roasted marrow bone more than made up for it. The T bone steak came with a sizzling platter to help finish off any under done meat...the meat was soft and tender, the fat could have been trimmed and rendered a little more. The spinach side needed draining of brown spinach juice. A small mix up with our disappearing bottle of water, a healthy wine list, jovial staff and a bubbling atmosphere.

Really small family run Italian restaurant in Vienna . Walked in at 5.45 and it was opening at 6 . Thought it should be easy to get a table as no one was there yet . We were politely refused as they were fully booked at 7, the reason their chef could not serve us freshly made food in an hour . However we were offered a table outside . Not only the food turned out to be amazing , the wine selection suggested was also great . The service for a small place was very attentive and the owner also stopped by to say hello.

This is the most arrogant and disgusting restaurant I have ever been too. I took my 3-year old daughter here for a quick early dinner meal, and a glass of wine. They served me two glasses of wine, the first one was fine, the second was awful, I asked if it was the same wine, the servitor made some pathetic excuse and took it immediately off the bill.

We left the restaurant, my daughter vomited three times. I called up the restaurant to ask if the pasta was fresh (it has shrimp inside), and explain the cheap trick the waiter had pulled. The manager said you should have said something at the restaurant- i did, I sent the wine back.

Instead of making sure my daughter was OK and apologise for the cheap trick, the manager argued with me, unbelievable.

My daughter is 3 years old. This place should be shut down. It's vile how they treated a woman with her small child, especially when the concerned mother is calling to find out information for her child.

I was recommended by my Italian friends who work at the Italian embassy, and I will inform them of my serious disappointment. Taking advantage of a woman and her young daughter is...

We were here for dinner sitting in the table in the street. My friend was afterwards a little drunk but was very quiet and did not bother any other client. She did not feel very good and need some rest in the seat because of the dizziness. Meanwhile she vomit a little, still without making any noise. I personally does not feel bad even though she is sitting next to me. The employee from the restaurant started to vanish us, then poured three barrels of ice water to the seat where my friend was sitting, although I warned him seriously that this was an attack!!! I called the police afterwards and keep the right to sue the restaurant to the civil court. What is more, when sitting in the table, there was a thief tried to steal money from us and luckily there was a female witness stopped the thief and alarmed us. The police caught the thief and recorded the case. This restaurant is lacking of humanity and understanding, and it even cannot providing a secure place for client. It is blacklisted by all of us. WE DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL! Think seriously before you...

Food was very nice. Service was slightly disappointing - one of the waitors came across as being very pompous and this put us ill-at-ease from the off. Not really the end of the world though.

The part that annoyed me was the underhand methods used to extract money from the clientiele - offering bread and water in a manner that implied complimentarity and then charging exorbitant prices for these items. The menu is already expensive. No doubt the restaurant will say this is because of the high quality ingredients, but still, how can a simple pasta dish at €17.50 ever be justified?

Overall the meal was pleasant enough but the greed of the restaurant was plain to see and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone whilst they maintain such a blatant impulse for money. A shame since the...
