A subpar bakery with items which felt that they were a days old. Unfortunately this review reflects some of the other poorly rated reviews. We ordered three items - the cinnamon bun, a plum jam bun and poppy seed bun. The cinnamon was hard and not particularly flavourful, poppy seed bun was very dense and dough didn't seem fresh and the plum jam bun was overfilled with jam, overpowering the pastry. Perhaps an acquired taste that we weren't used to but quite disapponting given the overall review of this cafe. We also ordered a chai latte which was very sweet and primarily froth (photo attached) as well as a latte which was pretty good. For €17, would suggest visiting other bakeries around the area

It might not be as stylish and, frankly, not too friendly service, as in some of the Wienna cafes, but it is simple, tasty, and not too expensive. Me and mine ordered coffee, hot chocolate, and 3 different cakes, see photos. All good, €8 per person. Buckweat cake is unusial and interesting in its delicate taste. Don't order it if subtle tones are not for you. Second, strudel, has sweet quark inside, just right, not too sweet. And the third is thin layer of sweet quark, plus little red currants, soft egg wites with crispy broened crust. (Gosh, why they can't make this right in England I don't understand.) Cofee and hot chocolate didn't have fancy patterns on top, but were good too.

Quite disappointed with the Apfelstrudel. It looks like it's more dough than anything. The apples were mushed together like a jam consistency instead of slices or chunks. The bottom was quite brown but the insides weren't evenly cooked. I ended up just eating the insides and some of the top part of the dough. Latte also tasted more like milk than anything. Location was convenient and service was quick though. Hopefully the rest of the pastries taste better.
