Fat Monk - Schottentor — Restaurant in Vienna

Very clean space and so many seats to choose from as well. I bought myself the Planted Chicken Monk Bowl, it was amazing. Of course there is a big portion of rice but yea...that's cause it's a bowl lol. I really liked the variety of flavour, especially the spice had a certain kick. With the fruity combo adding to the heat....man I really underestimated how good it could taste. Make sure you take your card with you, since you cannot pay with paper money or coins lol. They additionally serve cookies and drinks although I'll have to try those out the next time I come here! This is a definite #1 when it comes to bowls, so give this...

I was amazed by the food in this place. It’s everything that I appreciate about quality, freshness and service. Easy to make, even easier to eat, had to order twice. For Austrian standards it is probably cheap so around 10-12 euros for a delicious meal.

What I would underline is the freshness of the food, basically it seems like the village style food with modern preparation.

We were dining in, it is a self serving restaurant.

I wanted to get a dinner yesterday there to try it out for the first time as I'm almost their neighbour. Perhaps they should call the shop Fat Rice instead of Fat Monk. The bowl was full of rice, some vegetables and 3 piece of chicken. I don't know but not even more than 50gr.

Well I know where I won't go and get my food next time. I don't like...
