3 years ago we visited Nassau and to my excitement found the above establishment. Being an avid cherry Garcia fan and even having this as a nom de plume could not contain my excitement as this particular flavour is no longer available in my birth place this being the UK. So as part of the attraction of booking our cruise I yet again looked forward to enjoying a pint yes a pint of the above flavour of my dreams. We walked from the port in the rain and scalding heat to find the shop was not open until 11:00 am but sat waiting outside to be the first in line as I could. It contain my excitement. 11a.m came and went and still no sign of the shop opening, so to lighten the mood the Hubster suggested we take a walk and get a drink. We returned at 12:30pm and still no sign of the ice cream Mecca being opened. When we asked one of the other stalls owners if it was opened she advised it closed for the month of September due to poor customer foot fall. Would this not have been advisable to put on the website ? Very disappointed...
Read moreStopping at Ben & Jerry’s in the Bahamas was the cherry on top of a hot island day! The shop was bright, clean, and perfectly located for a quick break from the sun. As always, the flavors didn’t disappoint—rich, creamy, and packed with all the goodness you'd expect from Ben & Jerry’s.
We went with classics like Cherry Garcia and Half Baked and tried a few tropical specials too. The waffle cones were fresh, and the portions were generous—definitely worth the price. The staff was super friendly and patient while we sampled a few flavors (okay, maybe more than a few since we were there for a whole week and stoped there every day!).
It’s the perfect treat after a beach day or while strolling through the resort. And honestly, ice cream just hits different when you're in paradise!
Highly recommend for anyone craving something sweet, cold, and comforting in...
Read moreBen & Jerry’s doesn’t mess around! Their staff is hard working, very charismatic and FAST! So you better be ready with what you want because it’s a fast moving line haha! The ice cream is expensive but it’s WORTH! They do add like everything else you buy a fixed tax and tip automatically which you don’t see and then ask you for additional tip. I do personally love tipping so I tip on top of the automatic tip but it’s not required. Ultimately you are here for the convenience and the experience, it may be your most expensive ice cream but it’s delicious! I love that you can use coupons here too, and it’s located in a cute area fun to walk through! We would come here almost every night as a ritual for 7 days, I would sometimes just come for the experience and not get anything to eat even though it’s...
