Our private tour guide took us here for a late lunch. Admittedly I was a bit nervous about going to a restaurant stall like this, because it looked nothing like what we have in Canada but I am sooo happy that we did. We sat outside and ate fried grouper with rice w peas (tasty but not green peas- these were more like brown small legumes). The food was all delicious! Fried fish here is best eaten with fingers, so be sure to use hand sani before eating. And eat carefully, checking for bones. The fish was so fresh (I live in land locked western Ca where most of our fish comes frozen in a box)! I have never eaten (or heard about eating) grouper fish before. It’s a white meat fish with some large, easy to find bones. The seasoning on the fish was so tasty as was the seasoning on the rice. Kalika local beer was refreshing and easy to drink (similar to Corona). But the best part of our lunch experience was the wonderful customer service we received from Sandra and her daughter. Smiles, kindness and laughter. Wishing them all the best.
I recommend this restaurant to tourists looking for fresh authentic Bahamian food. You won’t be disappointed. We certainly weren’t. Thank you, Sandra and...
Read moreOne of our favorite places to eat every time we’re here! We use Sandra for our taxi ride to our resort every year and have been here ever since she first mentioned the restaurant our first year here. Great happy hour specials and easily the best conch fritters and conch salad I’ve ever had. We’ve had fried conch, fried barracuda, fried snapper, fried chicken, and a few other things here and it’s all been great. If you Call Sandra’s taxi service they’ll get you to and from the restaurant complimentary. Was there twice this week, love the location and it’s a great time having a few bottles of kalik, smoking a cigar or two, and enjoying amazing food. If you watch the water you’ll get to see some of the local sea life, and like another reviewer we saw a spotted ray with a HUGE tail. Would be here every night if I could, but unfortunately vacation must come to an end. Already looking forward to our next visit though.

Read moreThe Midnight Spot is a good alternative to dining on Atlantis property. The meals are affordable and the food is really good. The service wasn't so good-the waitress rarely came to our table and didn't know much about the menu. My son loved the fried lobster, and my daughter loved the fried calamari. Keep in mind that if you are looking for a steamed lobster with butter and lemon, don't order "Steamed lobster". If you do, you will get lobster stew. I was told that I should have ordered "grilled lobster". I would not recommend going here after dark, especially on the weekends. During daylight hours, you can sit by the water behind the restaurant where different kinds of rays are swimming. It's really cool. After dark, this place is NOT...
