Highly Recommended! The Salty Crab on Junkanoo Beach in Nassau, Bahamas is an absolute gem! If you're looking for a delightful beachside bar and restaurant with fresh, organic, and locally sourced food, this is the place to be. I've been fortunate enough to visit this seaside restaurant on several occasions, and each visit has been nothing short of fantastic. The location itself is picture-perfect, right on the beach, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean while you enjoy your meal. Now let's talk about the food – it's simply exceptional! On my latest visit, I ordered conch salad and fish and salad, and I was blown away by how flavorful and delicious it was. You can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients, and the fact that everything is sourced locally makes the dishes even more special. My taste buds were in paradise! My daughter, who's quite the food critic herself, devoured her crab cakes, lobster tail and fries with pure delight. It's rare to find a place that satisfies both my refined palate and my daughter's discerning taste, but The Salty Crab pulled it off effortlessly. (She ate her crab cake before I could take a picture). The staff at The Salty Crab are warm, friendly, and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. Whether you're a seafood lover, health-conscious foodie, or simply seeking an extraordinary beachside dining adventure, The Salty Crab has it all. I can't recommend this place enough, and it has become a must-visit spot whenever I'm in Nassau.

Thank you, Salty Crab, for consistently delivering outstanding food, superb service, and an unforgettable time by the beach. You've won my heart and taste buds, and I'm already counting down the days until...

The Salty Crab in the Bahamas is a delightful culinary gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience. Nestled along the picturesque coastline, this charming restaurant captures the essence of Bahamian hospitality and cuisine. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm smiles and a relaxed, beachy atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease.

The menu at the Salty Crab is a celebration of fresh, local seafood and traditional Bahamian flavors. Each dish is expertly prepared, showcasing the vibrant tastes of the islands. The conch fritters are a must-try, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, bursting with flavor. The grilled lobster, seasoned to perfection, is another standout, offering a taste of the ocean that's both rich and satisfying.

Beyond the food, the service is exceptional. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, eager to share recommendations and ensure your dining experience is top-notch. Whether you're enjoying a casual lunch or a romantic dinner by the sea, the ambiance is perfect, with stunning views that complement the delicious fare.

When you’re here, you’re FAMILY!!!

My husband and I flew into the Bahamas last Friday to catch a cruise. We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express right across the street. When looking for a dinner place, we were looking to try someplace local. We had seen some good reviews and decided to give The Salty Crab a try. The moment we walked in, we were basically greeted by an entire table full of people having a fantastic time. We were seated, and given a menu. We decided to go full-on local. We tried the conch fritters, conch salad, cracked chicken with the baked mac & cheese, and cracked shrimp. There really are no words to describe how delicious this food actually was.

The owner of the establishment actually came by to check to see how we were enjoying everything. We ended up speaking with him for probably the better part of an hour. By the time we left, basically the entire establishment became family.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. Warren was the perfect host. As long as he continues to do what he’s doing, I believe this place will be in business for years to come.

This was the perfect beginning to what was a wonderful vacation. Thanks to everyone at The Salty Crab for making our first experience there an...

Beach bar and Cuban cigars. Best little beach bar in the Bahamas 🇧🇸 We luckily stumbled across this gem of a restaurant bar on the beach across from the Holiday Inn. It was a spur of the moment trip and with no planning we were absolutely stoaked to get to spend some time here with the amazing salty crab team. The understated restaurant turned out amazing local seafood dishes. Super fresh Conch and lobster were my favourites. The Conch fritters were perfect with the local beers. The amazing team even brought out a humidor with a selection of Cuban cigars when they found out I was hoping to find some. More than accommodating. Can't wait for my next visit! Show less

Was in search of conch fritters and scored BIG with this restaurant. Met the owner, who told me that I would be ruined for other fritters after his recipe. He’s probably right! Wonderful fritters, with large pieces of conch. Not too spicy, not too much breading. Enjoyed them so much that I made a second trip right before heading to the airport! The restaurant is in a great spot - sits right on the beach so you can look over the water and sip a cool drink while you wait for your order, or take the food to go if you prefer to take to your hotel. I did both.
