Love this dive bar on Junkanoo Beach! Proprietors Barry and BJ cleaned up this former trash-filled beach and put it on the must-do list when in Nassau! Ice cold local Bahamian beers and awesome Bahamian-style Conch fritters! We have been coming here off and on for over 2 decades and Barry always remembers our last time together (sharing his stories and wisdom over a few cold beers, a Cuban cigar, or his famous 21-gun salute) and always treats us like family! A true Bahamian ambassador! Can't recommend enough!
UPDATE: Barry has moved to Tanzania! I told him that it is now a lot farther to visit, although, in typical Barry fashion, he offered an invitation to do so! Junkanoo Beach is still one of my fav spots in Nassau, but it is not the same without the incomparable Barry!
