English speaker review, which I believe is relevant because it seemed we were a huge inconvenience to the staff as soon as we said hello. No greeting when we entered, the female staff member came to our table and said "bonjour" and then stared at us with no expression. We both wanted the curry lunch special and I said I wanted mine with naan because she didn't offer the option, so my wife ended up with rice because she didn't get the chance to choose naan. As soon as we said we wanted the curry she was taking the menus and about to walk away, asked if we wanted a drink and my wife said a black tea and the waitress was gone. She didn't bother to see if I wanted a drink so I didn't get anything. Food was actually good which makes it even more disappointing how awful the staff is. They don't deserve customers, should just open a takeaway only or perhaps a sign saying "English speakers unwelcome". Also pretty sure we got overcharged but didn't want to stay any longer. Went to this restaurant twice with friends and then with family. The owner of this restaurant is quite querky and nice. You'll definitely have a fun dining experience . They offer set menu but you can also order from the card. Depending how full the restaurant is you may wait for 30 before the food is ready but they give you some appetizers which is good The quantity of food may seem small but are actually quite generous once you start putting it on your plate. The food itself is also good and tasty. I cannot say if it's authentic Indian cooking, without westernizing, but it definitely does not taste like something from the supermarket. This is definitely a good place to eat with a nice atmosphere.

When we went to celebrate my sister's birthday, the owner even surprised us by putting a birthday song and gave a birthday dessert on the house. This is how nice and thoughtful the people are in this restaurant.
