Watanay gastrobar — Restaurant in Municipio Sucre

Excellent concept. The gastro bar offers a selection of food and drinks. Coctails are excellent, wines are good (local wineyards so they are really worth trying). Sadly the food lacks the technique to pull off the combinations they propose: a maiz tortilla was fried, and then extra oil was poured into it making it dissastrous, when we mentioned it, they admited the mistake did nothing and just explained they had left it longer than they should but that the “idea was there”. Also the servers have not idea what they are doing and commit mistakes that are just sad to watch. Far too over priced for the result in a city with great tasting menus at a good price that also have the technique and ingredients to back them.
