An excellent find, traditional setting and food with a century old recipe still to date. The restaurant entrance is just off the main Baščaršija street, seems a little discreet but look out for the board. Kicked off with a couple of 1/2 pints of the delicious Sarajevsko, then the most mesmerising soup Čorba (derived from Turkish roots with soft beef meat, okra, carrots, onions and potatoes. Yummy!🤤 then finished with a hunger quenching mixed dolma (stuffed meat in assorted vegetables) and veal skewers with fries. Read moreAfter the fact, my wife and I learned that this restaurant is some 500 years old, the oldest in Sarajevo we were told. The wait staff seated us promptly and we’re very inviting and courteous. In addition, they took our order in a timely manner. Both people who tended to us spoke very good English, given we did not speak Bosnian. Also the food was served shortly after ordering, and we were very pleased with with what we ordered—see photos. Read moreIt is really wonderful place. We went to this restaurant by recomendations of our friends, which live at Sarajevo more than 20 years. Food was very good - fresh and tasty, staff was very friendly and polite - they even opened hall for non-smokers specially for us, because we were with kid - despite that there were only several guests at the main hall)) a lot of people at Sarajevo smoke everywhere, without any hesitation, but staff of Aeroplan restaurant made all the best for our pleasure....
