Ćevabdžinica Željo 3 — Restaurant in City of Sarajevo

Overall very good, atmosphere is nice, tables are sufficient and the food is very good. Usually the place is very crowded especially during the summer season when Sarajevo is filled with tourists. It has a typical barbecue menu so nothing inovative here.

I recommend eating the combo meal, you get 3 sudžukice(sausages), 5 ćevapi(rolled up minced meat) and one somun(something simular to Indian nan bread)

I gave "Željo 3" a 4 star rating because the servers leave something to be desired. They are reality inattentive and whenever I ask them for something they seem like they're bothered by the question which leaves me feeling a bit awkward.

All in all I would recommend visiting but be wary if you're a tourist because they do NOT know english... At least the ones I encountered didn't. So prepare a bit of knowledge of the language so you can at least order and say...

Truly delicious!

We had tried cevapi at another place in Mostar before and didn’t like it much, but we decided to give it another chance here — and we’re glad we did. The meat was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The taste really stands out! The location is also excellent, right in the heart of the old bazaar, lively and easy to find.

However, I can’t say the same for the service. One of the waiters — tall, bald, and bearded — was quite rude and unpleasant. I didn’t even want to order through him because of his attitude. Thankfully, the older lady working alongside him was much kinder and more attentive.

In short: 10/10 for the food, great location, but the service definitely needs improvement. I’d come back just for the food, but the staff experience...

Never felt this bad.... We go there every year for 4 years. Cevapi are the worst ever. Kajmak is not a kajmak...it is some sour cream from the shop. Cevapi are small and tasteless.Waiter treated us badly that i wanted to stop the whole show and leave. They don't respect you , all they try to do is take your money and kick you out so they can fit the next one in. Sadly i see that all over the Balcan region.... People start something, it gets popular , then they go super greedy and then lose customers.... I wish you exactly that.... Never again. If you want some real cevapi in Sarajevo ask some locals .... They never...
