I visited Kapana in May 2024, and it is a real treasure in the city of Plovdiv. The pastries were amazing - I had an almond croissant and my friend had a chocolate "biscuit" which I would describe as similar to scone - both of which were notably excellent. And there is an exceptional variety - along with full loaves of bread (we didn't get to try one of those).
The staff were incredibly accommodating, explaining to us what was in each pastry in English. We then had a nice sit inside the cafe and relaxed - a very pleasant atmosphere.

Read moreThis bakery is beautiful on the inside. We tried the quiche and a brioche. Both were delicious. They also make a very nice cappuccino for 2lv versus the 3 or higher you'll find at the hipster coffee shops in this area.
Only knocked off a star because the service could've been a bit friendlier. The woman behind the counter was efficient but not welcoming at all. Maybe it was just the rainy weather.
