Great place. Situated in a cool, winding, back alley area - it's worth spending the few minutes it will take to get there on foot as you can't get dropped off outside the door. Just ask someone if you can't find it. The barman, Jeff, was friendly and happy to have a conversation. The beers were decent and they had a good range - 8 on tap - and a fridge full of bottles. The Riel IPA and oatmeal stout I had on draught both hit the spot and at $3.50 for a 350ml pour were a good deal. The fuzzy logic rye ipa bottle I took away wasn't that good. I loved the fact a random Ukrainian chef from a restaurant nearby came in and gave me a bowl of top notch Borsch soup - for no reason other than I was there. Next time I'm in the area I'll try to find his restaurant. I'll be back next time...

Having the map off their FB page was very useful. Side note: what a great alley of little businesses!! Ny was working and is an absolute treasure who loves her job. As I’ve been eating a lot of fresh passion fruit I went with a large glass of that to start and my husband had the raspberry Weiss. Both delicious! We ordered food from the Burger Shack around the corner which got delivered promptly. Then we each had a glass of the oat stout which was the perfect end to the evening.
