Kyoto 306 ,BKK1 ,Phnom Penh — Restaurant in Khan Boeng Keng Kang

Update: the owner fully refunded our bill and offered a free meal. We will bilaterally discuss my feedback and my poor experience. I hope this will improve the quality and help the restaurant to develop the service.

Not worth coming at all

The only satisfying things were miso and sashimi from the Kyoto combo set. To start with, there’s a mess with ordering. We’ve ordered turkish coffee, but got the tea (it was excluded from the bill, but still). Then waiters by mistake brought us a salad, which was ordered by another table - when we told it wasn’t in the order, they’ve just moved the same dish to the next table.

Time for food to be ready was hideous. 25 minutes for one type of sashimi and tofu, 45 minutes for other sashimi, cold noodles, miso and rice.

When staff was taking away empty dishes, they’ve spilled sauce all across the table and other plates. Except for miso and plain salmon/tuna sashimi (which can be bought in supermarket), food wasn’t really tasty.

Definitely not worth the price and time...

Atmosphere is just alright, food is normal, sushi not the right food worth $18 for a small bowl of udon or $9 for 2 pieces of sushi and ask me to pre book if I need to order sushi for 10 people. But your restaurant name is Kyoto 306? I paid $900 for 10 pax (7 adults and 3 small kids) I guarantee you NOT WORTH YOUR time and money. I can’t believe this kind of restaurant still in operation it must be from a free money somewhere. Please improve your mindset. Customers don’t need to remember that you are so nice! Because you have your 2 chefs com to service us because we came to your place to order sushi. So it is my fault that I came for sushi BUT I need to pre book to make sure you have chef to serve us!
