**Edit 2nd visit: I’m revising my review in our 2nd disappoint after our 2nd visit. Since we had such poor seating the first time, based on the servers instruction, we made specific request to sit at the counter seat directly in front of the pizza makers as we wanted to see how the pizza were made.
We arrived and they took us to the side back end of the counter where you can barely see the action. We weren’t too thrilled with this 2nd mishap but thankfully due to persistant asking, they finally allowed us to change when the previous party finally finished. The staff didn’t think this was a huge issue.
Granted she did try very hard, we unfortunately had a staff that could barely speak English properly so it was a very difficult process ordering. However what made us most upset was at the end of the meal. The staff makes every single party answer tablet questionnaires to insure your dining experience was pleasant. We of course listed the reservation request being ignored and submitted it.
Then it not even a minute goes by when a woman rushes over, seemingly not happy. She wanted to ask what was wrong and why her reception desk got scored 3 points! I think this is a terrible accusatory confrontation from your restaurant’s part. Not only did we feel like we did something wrong but to be accosted with further interrogations from a simple pizza meal. All we wanted was to enjoy ourselves at the restaurant. We explained our situation and instead of saying « we will try improve and honor the guests request » she asks if we really did request the seats clearly. And that she would double check our reservations to confirm. How insulting to A) doubt your customer B) seat them horribly c) then question your customer afterwards?
This experience had definitely left a bitter taste for us. I really hope the management team and help improve face interactions from your reservations desk.
Ps. The pizza is still good but the tiramisu was disappointing. Will not be ordering the tiramisu again.
** 1st Visit: Was hugely disappointed that being our first time at the restaurant and despite making a reservation, they sat us in the corner behind a huge pillar. We didn’t really have a window view nor a view of the restaurant and felt hidden in the back. We felt we didn’t get a chance to really enjoy the atmosphere at all!
Despite the poor seating, we were pleasantly surprised by the overall service of the restaurant. In particular, our server Soengly, helped made our night enjoyable. He was quick to respond and brought our orders without fail. The pizza itself was incredibly delicious and we love the fact that you can choose different halves of the pizza and have them sliced in any...
Read moreI’ve had the pleasure of dining at 4P’s Pizza Riverside in Phnom Penh twice, and it never disappoints. Specializing in pizza and other Italian delicacies, this restaurant combines exceptional food, a great atmosphere, and outstanding service.
During my visits, I tried the Chicken Teriyaki Pizza, Burrata and Parma Ham Pizza, Salmon Miso Pizza, and Spaghetti Carbonara—all of which were delightful. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, with a crispy crust and creative toppings that balanced flavors beautifully. The Burrata and Parma Ham Pizza stood out with its rich, creamy burrata and savory ham, while the Salmon Miso Pizza was a unique fusion dish that worked surprisingly well. The Spaghetti Carbonara was comforting and indulgent, with just the right amount of creaminess. For drinks, I opted for a refreshing Lime Juice, which paired well with the meal.
The ambiance at 4P’s Pizza Riverside is another highlight. The aesthetic design of the space creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. The staff provided excellent service, speaking fluent English and ensuring every detail was attended to.
In terms of value, the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and experience offered. The restaurant is also spotless, reflecting their high standards for cleanliness and professionalism.
Overall, 4P’s Pizza Riverside is a gem in Phnom Penh. Whether you’re craving authentic Italian pizza with a twist or looking for a great dining experience by the riverside, this place is worth visiting. I can’t...
Read moreAbsolutely deserving of all 5 stars! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality blew us away. The hosts and servers treated us like we were dining in a high-end hotel, and the quality of the food felt like it should’ve cost five times more than it did (we spent $12 a person). Our server was incredibly kind, sweet, and knowledgeable—offering great recommendations and explaining each dish with genuine care.
We tried a variety of pizzas: the kebab, miso salmon, 4 cheese (pro tip: eat it with honey!), and the burrata—and honestly, I can’t even pick a favorite. Every single one was fantastic! The ingredients we’re homemade and full of flavor. The crust was perfectly thin and oven-fired, while the toppings were generous, creative, and fun.
As a Swiss person who usually sticks to classic Italian-style pizza, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the fusion twist. It was the perfect blend of traditional Italian base with bold, Asian-inspired toppings. This place makes being adventurous with pizza totally worth it!
I also appreciated the small details that made the experience even better—like being able to choose how many slices to cut the pizza into (perfect for our group of five), and the thoughtful crates provided for bags so nothing had to sit on the floor.
On top of it all, 4P’s Pizza is committed to sustainability, with a strong focus on reuse and recycling. It’s always a bonus to support a place that not only serves amazing food but also stands for a meaningful cause.
Highly recommend—this...
